Wonderful!!!

Liz is such a great guide through this wonderful hobby and is a passionate solo board gamer. Liz offers intelligent insights and speaks to quality guest contributors. Liz never dominates the conversation the way some podcasters can and listens with warmth and interviews with skill. Recommended!!

For history and gaming enthusiasts

Probably the best podcast on those topics, highly recommended.

Really enjoying the current season

My favourite podcast - the conversations this season have been insightful and have covered a number of interesting topics that I hadn’t previously encountered in detail (the study and use of Ancient Greek in revolutionary Puerto Rico, Witchcraft in the Middle Ages). I find it really enjoyable to listen to deeply informed people passionately talk about their expertise, and the games it relates to.
