Hour 1
One more day of Stugotz filling in for Boomer. Yesterday after the show, Gio and Stugotz played golf together and Gio said it was the worst golf experience. The Mets won again, beating the Braves in 10 after the Braves couldn’t pull off a suicide squeeze and then overran a fly ball hit by Jeff McNeil in the bottom of the 10th. We talked more about the worst day of golf yesterday. C-Lo is in for Jerry, but first we talked about the new Post Malone/Luke Combs country song. Al also thinks all of Jordan Davis’ songs are about getting engaged. C-Lo has the sounds of the Mets beating the Braves and it doesn’t seem like the manager called for that failed suicide squeeze. Dylan Cease no-hit the Nationals for the second no-hitter in Padres history. Dan Le Batard said Stugotz is bigger than anyone on FAN not named Boomer Esiason. Yesterday Gio had a take that this year’s Mets team is comparable to the NY Giants in the first year of Joe Schoen and Brian Daboll. Gio found out this morning that Mike Fliegelman had that same take on Sunday morning, before Gio had that take. C-Lo is back for an update but first Gio talked about Grape Nuts and Splenda and they hit him up on Twitter. Phil the sales guy said he has been calling Splenda for advertising. C-Lo has audio of the Mets beating the Braves after the right fielder overran Jeff McNeil’s fly ball. Jerry Jones met the media and some people feel like he’s starting to slip a bit. A weird rumor going around the internet was that JD Vance made love to a couch. It’s not true. In the final segment of the hour, we talked about the book Stugotz is writing that is supposed to come out at the end of the year.

The Mets beat the Braves thanks to a botched suicide squeeze and a dropped fly ball in the bottom of the tenth. The crowd at the Mets game was tremendous last night.
