This episode will focus on sleep issues we simply don’t talk about - like sleepwalking, sleep talking, even night terrors. And, how, if you’re a bad sleeper it affects every aspect of your life. Sky Sports, F1 and BBC presenter Natalie Pinkham speaks openly to host Vogue Williams about her night terrors and sleepwalking experiences and the impact this had on her life (including some of her maddest sleepwalking escapades!), while sleep therapist, author physiologist and motivational speaker, Dr Nerina Ramlakhan, is on hand to explain what’s happening and why. And, of course, to provide loads of helpful tips for fellow bad sleepers.

Sex: everything you were afraid to ask, with Hannah Witton and Jessica Megan

Sex: everything you were afraid to ask, with Hannah Witton and Jessica Megan

Host Vogue Williams gets 'under the covers' with YouTuber, broadcaster and author, Hannah Witton alongside A Bloody Good Period ambassador and sex positivity influencer, Jessica Megan, to get down and dirty about all things sex. Because, despite it being 2021, sex is still one of the most ‘taboo’ topics there is. Everything from the magic of masturbation, to desire, arousal, physicality, partners, STDs and basic biological facts are often considered too embarrassing or socially inappropriate to discuss. Why? And what are the questions we really want to know the answers to? The girls break down some barriers and debunk some myths while they're at it.

NB: If you're worried about your sexual health, always see your GP or visit your local sexual health clinic. For more information on local services available to you and things like emergency contraception go to https://www.nhs.uk/service-search/sexual-health

A bloody good chat about periods, with Lottie Drynan and Dr Brooke Vandermolen

An informative and funny chat about periods and hormones with body confidence campaigner and ‘You’ve Gut This’ founder Lottie Drynan and ‘Obgyn Mum’ Dr Brooke Vandermolen.

Dr Vandermolen will give listeners the science on hormones/periods/moods/pain/cramps.
What is “normal”, what’s “worrying” and, in her experience, is the conversation becoming less taboo?

NB: If there's anything your worried about with regards to your cycle or your periods, always speak to your GP.

Gut instinct: what’s your stomach trying to tell you, with Lisa and Alana Macfarlane (The Gut Stuff) and Jonny Wilkinson

Gut health is a relatively young science. Investigations into the effect of the gut microbiome on general health and wellbeing are ongoing, but one thing everyone agrees on is that it is a lot more influential than previously thought. This episode features Lisa and Alana Macfarlane, aka The Mac Twins – Scottish DJs, presenters and founders of The Gut Stuff, who have made it their mission for the last few years to better understand what the gut is all about – and rugby icon Jonny Wilkinson whose interest in gut health spawned a new business. This episode will deliver listeners an entertaining – and very necessary – Gut Health 101 lesson.

NB: Just a reminder that if you are worried about your gut health in any way, please seek advice from your GP.

Funny

Enjoying this podcast and how open the chat is. I laughed out loud at some of the stories! Lottie was hilarious. Wish I’d known some of this when I was teenager.

The sleep episode

It wasn’t believable that at age 43, Natalie hasn’t had any “help” before. She kept asking for advise and help while she’s had these issues since she was a child.
