God I wish more people would apply this. I have applied similar steps myself with my aggressive little terrier. She is no where near as bad as she used to be! Yes she is an addict, yes she finds it intrinsically reinforcing to kick off at other dogs. But applying these methods she is far better at the “this way” redirecting command I wish I could ask about the punishment marker? Once you have stopped the reaction with the NO marker and coupled with the tap tap if needed. If the dog has successfully disengaged with the trigger do you still reward that? Even after you have punished?
