This means you are likely to become one! This is where Care fully considered comes in, co-hosted by Katy and Laura, both unpaid carers, this podcast is about caring, the issues unpaid carers face and how to solve them. Care fully considered aims to inform and entertain you. Each episode, Katy and Laura will be talking to an expert to get their views and explore what can be done to get the change millions of carers across the UK need.     Bridging the care expectation gap

    In our latest episode, we speak to Taha Bokhari - lead analyst at the Joseph Rowntree Foundation - to discuss their report exploring the care expectation gap.  In our last conversation of 2025, we discuss why most people don't plan for their future, and why the majority of the British public significantly underestimate their future care needs or the fact they will likely have to provide care at some point in their lives.     Misery Olympics - fixing unpaid carers' PR problem

    The unspoken bond of carers worldwide

We discuss Carers Worldwide's important work and how she combines influencing the lives of carers overseas with advocacy work on behalf of parent carers in the UK, while caring for her daughter who has Down Syndrome. This is another huge milestone for unpaid carers in India, and Carers Worldwide is committed to continuing their advocacy work so that Carers Allowance reaches more carers in more states across India.

    Snow White and the Evil Sense of Humour
