(Interview) What if your Instagram account disappeared? with Erica Cuevas

What would you do if your successful Instagram account got hacked?

What if Instagram just disappeared tomorrow?

Do you feel intuitively it’s time for a rebrand in your life, relationship or business?

Do you embrace change and transition or fight it?
In episode 49,  I interview Erica Cuevas who currently resides on the native lands of the Yokuts people also known as Fresno, California. She is a Mom to her 3 year old son, and a former high school teacher that’s currently pursuing a Masters in Counseling. Her near death experience 3 years ago was the catalyst for the beginning of her spiritual awakening journey which ultimately lead her to the medicine woman path where she is now learning traditional Andean shamanic healing from her elders in the Q’ero Inca Nation in the high Andes of Peru.
In this episode we discuss her near death experience, how her successful Instagram account being hacked and deleted lead her to a complete rebrand, her new boundaries with technology , recovering from being a people pleaser and so much more.
I wanted Charge My Core to be a safe space for guests to get vulnerable about their journey of self discovery and for you to feel less alone navigating the modern digital world.  I want the interviews to be real people with real inspiring stories of self discovery.

How to connect and grow through grief

How to connect and grow through grief

This episode is dedicated to Corinne Marie Craig. Rest in peace. I carry your heart.
    TW: Suicide and Grief
Are you grieving? Have you lost someone close to you and you’re feeling alone? Are you feeling a call to connect to others who understand what you’re going through?
This is a solo episode that is super vulnerable. It’s a bit different than other episodes but grief is a HUGE part of my personal journey of self discovery and also the catalyst that started my journey in sharing in the digital world.

I believe that one of the BEST uses of social media and digital connection is to speak and connect with people who are experiencing or have experienced similar nuanced experiences that are difficult to navigate such as grief, miscarriage, divorce, infertility, abuse, trauma etc.

    Connection is so healing.
Here is my latest blog post about grief honoring Corey on her anniversary. It has links to previous articles in the post.
Here is the BEST PODCAST EPISODE I’ve ever heard. If you enjoyed this episode, I really want you to listen to this. SERIOUSLY!

(Interview) Too busy to change your mind, maybe it's TIME with Emma Karney

In episode 45, I have my first repeat guest and interview Emma Karney, a PT, nutrition and lifestyle coach who is a mom of two and loving wife based in Bristol and also happens to be my bestie.  We discuss the power of changing your mind and some life experiences recently that have led to large mindset shifts for her including catching and recovering from Covid.
Do you feel like you never have the time to prioritize your healthy habits? Are you hoping those last 10 pounds will sort your life out? Or are you nailing your fitness and nutrition but feeling like something else is missing?  Are you willing to change your mind about your schedule, priorities and habits?
We talk about her current relationship with social media, why she loves having an email list, why losing 10 pounds won’t bring you the happiness you think it will, the secret weapon in the wellness world you’re too tired or too busy to remember and finally she shares about her small group coaching program Time to Glow which she is now accepting members for.

Conversations with friends

I love listening to Susie , and Susie and her guests. I find these podcasts SO helpful and a joy to listen to, as someone with a previously unhealthy relationship with my phone in general, her tips have been great help. Digital wellness needs to be taught in schools and I’m so pleased to have found this podcast to enable me to give the best tools to my children.

So needed & so important!

This podcast couldn’t be more perfect for me because as an online entrepreneur & personal brand I definitely struggle with having boundaries when it comes to technology. I listen to every episode religiously and find Susie to be such a positive and uplifting force. I love the stories and motivational tips that she shares, so thank you for making this wonderful podcast. I know it’s going to help so many people!
