    Recommendations

    As a Christians, there are a lot of things that are hard to find. That goes from good music, wholesome TV shows, to appropriate swimsuits and shorts.     Stewarding Summer

    We are often told to use our time wisely. During the summer, we have a lot of it to spare. It can often fly by before we realize that it didn't incorporate much besides rest and fun. Both of those are good things, but they should not be the only purpose of summer.     Semester 2, Week 15: What is Challenge?

    Guys, congratulations! We've made it to the end of our 2022-2023 school year. We pray that this podcast has blessed, encouraged, and helped you through this school year! Today, we discussed the Challenge Program. We talked about what it is, compared it with other co-ops, and broke down each of the strands.  We read through Philippians 3:7-14, and we talked about how much Christ is worth in comparison with earthly treasure and how to fight to see Him as such.  We quizzed each other on old CC memory work and had a surprising winner! We hope your summer is going wondefully. We will be back on Friday, June 9th with an episode on stewarding summer and honoring the Lord with the use of our free time! See you then!

    Semester 2, Week 14: End of the Year Reflections

    As we reach the finish line of the 2022-2023 school year, Nadia and Anna reflected on the past year. They discussed ways they've grown, ways they hope to grow next year, accomplishments, failures, and memories. We encourage our listeners to think on these questions themselves and maybe even jot down their own answers as we go into summer and are expectant of the 2023-2024 school year! The verse we discussed this week was Matthew 25:21, which says, “His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much.     Semester 2, Week 13: Foundations and Essentials

    Hey, everybody! Welcome back to Chasing the Challenge! Today we talked about the Foundations and Essentials program and how it prepares students for Challenge. The verse we discussed was Ephesians 4:26-27, which says, “Be angry and do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger, and give no opportunity to the devil.”  By the way, we're sorry that this episode is late; Anna got sick and wasn't able to record. We thought it'd be better just to push things back a week!

    Semester 2, Week 12: Priorities

    Hey, everybody! Welcome back to Chasing the Challenge. This week, Anna and Nadia discussed what, besides schoolwork, we should prioritize and how to do so. Some of the answers we came up with were Bible time, family time, sleep, exercise, and outdoor time. Our verse this week was James 1:5, which says, "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him." Which superhero did Anna and Nadia almost start a podcast about? Can they remember the quotes from all of his movies???
