    S2. Episode 2 - A Christmas Story

We've all got our own stories that we could tell around this time of year, probably laden with many traditions and family recipes transmitted from generation to generation, but what happens after you've exchanged gifts, the decorations come off and are put in storage for next year?

What is the real meaning of Christmas?

Journey with us, from Genesis to Luke's gospel as we read and reflect on the Biblical perspective of Christmas represented both by God's promise of salvation to the entire world in His perfect timing.

    S2. Episode 1 - The Jesus way to self-care

    S2. Episode 1 - The Jesus way to self-care

What is your favourite way to rest and unwind?

Is the Bible teaching us how to practice self-care?

In this fast-paced world, finding rest and having boundaries seems almost unattainable, however as Christians we know that true rest can be experienced on a day-to-day basis, in the midst of work and other responsibilities by prioritising our relationship with God.

Although the word 'self-care' per se does not come up in the Bible, it's enough to look at the example set by Jesus to seek God's presence, in solitude and silence, with prayer and even fasting.

Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

Shalom - the peace of God

Shalom - the peace of God

    What is stealing your peace?

Learn how the Bible encourages us to lean on God more and more every day of our lives, as our relationships and even the world around us seem to have forgotten what God's perfect peace, or Shalom, truly is.

As Christians, we have a responsibility not just to pursue peace but to work on maintaining it - tall order, we know!

We hope and pray that today's episode brings you some peace in what can be a noisy, tumultuous world.
