S7,ep3 Finding Your Life Purpose with Misty Sansom

S7,ep3 Finding Your Life Purpose with Misty Sansom

In this episode of Create Shift I talk to Misty Sansom, a life purpose coach all the way from New Zealand! Misty is a writer and life purpose coach who helps people to figure out exactly what they’re meant to do in life and how to make it happen.

Her work has been featured on the Huffington Post, the Daily Guru and MindBodyGreen, and she teaches people how to find their purpose and bring it to life through her ebook, monthly membership and 1:1 coaching.

We get deep into the topic of finding your life purpose, words that perhaps are heard a lot within the wellness and personal development space but often lack solidity. Misty's work is brilliant as she takes the concept and makes it very tangible, practical and actionable. In this episode she shares steps you can take and exercises to do to start uncovering your life purpose, and how to live it.

I hope you enjoy this conversation, and find it supportive.

S6,ep8 You Have to Give Yourself Permission to Do What You Want

S6,ep8 You Have to Give Yourself Permission to Do What You Want

In this final episode of season 6 of Create Shift I talk about how it's up to us to give ourselves permission to do what we want. I share my experience of wanting to create my own dosha quiz (http://being-change.com/take-the-dosha-quiz) and feeling like I couldn't because I didn't have the relevant qualifications/experience (despite, in reality, having both). I discuss how the universe is singing with our dreams and desires (no matter how big or small they are), and explore how and why we prevent ourselves from pursuing these. I share an exercise from coach Tara Mohr (https://www.taramohr.com/) on reframing these things we tell ourselves, and offer encouragement and inspiration for moving forwards with your dreams.

S6,ep7 How to Bring Yoga Philosophy into Your Daily Life with Catherine Gallagher of Yoga with Catherine

In today's episode of Create Shift I speak with Catherine Gallagher who runs the global yoga brand Yoga with Catherine. I wanted to bring Catherine onto the show specifically as I think she embodies living yoga as more than just the physical practice we do on our mats. Catherine and I have a lovely conversation about how she brings yoga philosophy into her daily life to support her in running her business, and living life in the best way she can everyday.
I hope you find this conversation supportive and inspiring in helping you think about bringing yoga philosophy into your daily life.

S6,ep6 Creating Morning and Evening Routines

S6,ep6 Creating Morning and Evening Routines

Oh hello! Welcome to another solo episode of Create Shift. Continuing on with the theme of routines I've been focusing on lately, in this episode I talk specifically about morning and evening routines. This short episode follows on nicely from s6,ep4 where I talk about using Ayurveda to schedule your day (http://being-change.com/create-shift-s6-ep4-productivity/) as in this episode I discuss the dominant doshas in the evening. As I mention in S6,ep3 on the Importance of Routine in Challenging Times (http://being-change.com/create-shift-s6-ep3-routine/) I think I'm talking about routine so much at the moment because it's something we can have some control over.
But if you're reading this and starting to feel bad because you have zero routine right now, please don't worry! The need for our routines to be flexible is a big thing I talk about in this episode, and a really key thing we need to remember. Our routines need to be part of our self-care, not a way we beat up on ourselves. So, I hope you find this short episode inspiring and supportive.
    Thanks for listening,
