Cricket Et Al

Radio, and especially cricket on my radio, has always been a wonderful friend to me. For about 50 years now. Boyhood memories of tuning, often furtively under the bedclothes, into commentary from Ashes matches down under in Oz, remain so vivid, so reassuring. Podcasts now form a huge part of my media / radio in general, sport and cricket in particular, consumption. And when it comes to cricket ~ there are none finer than this. It gives me insight (not least, into cricket as informed from an Aussie angle), thoughts provoked, and - not least - wry smiles. Wonderful. And yes. I still typically listen with my eyes shut. I'm so glad you blokes have gone down this route - it must be great to be your own bosses control the agenda in terms of timing and subject matter. There are lots of people out there trying to get hold of my money but you two make it feel like a very sound investment. As an English 'neutral' moving into the dark days of winter I can't wait to hear your daily reports on the big test match series.
