Very helpful for people working on tech policy

It’s possible I even enjoy this show. It’s difficult to say. I listen to it religiously, but is that because I’m an enormous nerd? Do I truly *enjoy* it? Am I one of only ten or so people listening? Am I the only listener? Is this even a real show? I scream, for I do not know. Meaning eludes me. Sanity slips. Nonetheless, I must recommend this show to those interested in platform regulation and content moderation.

I’ve loved Mike’s work for many years, and more recently started following Ben’s writing. Both are crucial resources for anyone who loves tech policy issues, so I’m really happy they’ve taken their perspective to the podcast medium. The show does a great job of going both wide and deep in its analysis, and doing it all with a healthy dose of humour where possible. I also especially enjoyed their recent episode with the brilliant Daphne Keller. Keep up the great work!

I’d like to start by giving this podcast a solid 5 stars. I listen every week, and as an aspiring trust and safety professional, I find it invaluable for its ability to explain often complex issues clearly. As well as being informative, the podcast is also really engaging and enjoyable. If I could offer one piece of feedback, it would concern how public policy decisions are discussed. As a British person, I understand that my views might differ somewhat from those in the US (or elsewhere) regarding the role of government. Nonetheless, while the podcast does an excellent job of explaining what’s wrong with certain public policy decisions, I would love to see more time dedicated to discussing what governments and regulators could do, or highlighting specific public policies that have been successful. I realise this may be a tougher question to answer, but it could provide an even more constructive version of the discussions.
