Do you have the skills you need to love and lead your family from the front?

My name is Brendan Wall. I am a father of four and married to my best friend. I started this podcast not because I have all the answers, but because I am in search of them. We have one opportunity to be the best men, husbands, and fathers that we can be, and I plan to seize it.

At DAD THE MAN we interview guys we all know and admire professionally, but more importantly, are setting the tone for what a great man, husband, and father looks like. Guys who seize the opportunity before them to love and lead their families from the front, from a place of opportunity not obligation. This is Dad the Man. This is who we all aspire to become. Every single week, you can expect to hear from household names like JORDAN SPIETH, TIM KENNEDY, ERIC DECKER, SEAN LOWE, STIPE MIOCIC, DAVID MELTZER, DR MICHAEL GERVAIS, STAN EFFERDING, MARK BELL, DREW MANNING, DR JOSH AXE, DR JOHN DELONY, ROBB WOLF, JASON KHALIPA, TODD ABRAMS, LEW CARALLA, BERT SORIN, JOHN ELDREDGE, HEATH EVANS, DANIEL CARLSON, YOGI ROTH, PETER BURNS, CARLOS REYES, and many more represent what DAD THE MAN stands for.

As men, husbands, and fathers, we experience and struggle with so many of the same things, and it's time we recognize that we are all in this together. If you are looking for more purpose, passion, connection, success, and camaraderie in your life, then you are in the right place.

Welcome to DAD THE MAN

    GUEST NOTES
Todd is a guy I connected with over social media. His handle is @irun.iwork.idad - and his content is a great mix of those three things: Fitness, work, and family life, which are all pretty relevant for us. He's a successful New York City trader.. beautiful family, four kids.. ridiculous shape .. coaches the little league teams.. Todd does it all.. and he utilizes fitness as a catalyst to do it all at a high level. We talked a lot about this idea of using fitness as a catalyst, and among other things, we went deep into the dynamics of Youth sports, Todd give us his “3 team rules” that he uses with all his little league teams that provide a framework for success on and off the field. You’ll walk away from this episode with a new perspective on fitness and a kick in the tail to get moving.

    136 | Dad the Man 2.0 - We're back!!

    136 | Dad the Man 2.0 - We're back!!

Today is the day - Dad the Man 2.0 is official live!
In today’s episode we’ll cover three quick things:
Where we came from - The Dad the Man origin story (Clif’s notes version) (1:55)Where we’ve been - Why we took 6 months off (8:05)Where we’re headed - What you can expect from Dad the Man 2.0 (12:30)
Said very simply, Dad the Man is THE place for us dads on a lifelong pursuit of excellence at home, at work, at church, and everywhere in between to get together and get better
…. think “personal development for dads through a Christian world-view.”
This isn’t about us, it’s about them (them = those who depend on us)
We all have a lot going on —> We’ve all been blessed with a lot of responsibility
And we owe it to those who rely on us to be our best.
Our wives, kids, family, friends, coworkers, teams, churches….
… they all deserve our best … they all deserve our fastball
This show is my own exploration into being my best
And learning how to expand my own capacity to handle more better
So I can serve those around me better
If you’re not up for the challenge of becoming your best…
… then now would be the time to unsubscribe
… but if you’re up for it
then you are in the right place.
In today’s episode, we go deeper into what you can expect to hear from Dad the Man 2.0 moving forward. Click here to check out the latest episode.

135 | JAY BILAS - Off the Court Wisdom on Marriage, Youth Sports, Work Life Balance, and more!

Today we have a conversation with JAY BILAS. Yes, the Jay Bilas you know from ESPN. He’s an icon in the world of college basketball, a six time Emmy nominee, a NYT bestselling author, a Duke legend and NBA vet, a practicing attorney, a husband, a dad , an all around great dude, and today he’s the guest on our show!
I personally got as much or more from this conversation, as much any other episode we’ve done so far. The marriage advice, insights on how he raised his kids to be the successful and wonderful adults that they are now
So many gems. So much wisdom. You're going to love this episode with Jay Bilas.
