Falcon smack ,

Learnt while I laughed

I am not the target audience for this podcast being a bloke !
V funny and informative of the strife suffered by those affected. Only caught the 1 episode so far but will 100% listen to more.

Too much laughing

S1,Ep.2 - there were just too much laughing which was to a point of very annoying. Practically can’t finish listening to the whole episode, let alone the letter which they were reading.

That explains things! Sorry Mum!

My wife had been talking about this podcast and had been gently ‘nagging’ me to listen in! I was a bit grumpy and reluctant about doing so, but so glad I did! I loved it, and now have a much better understanding of some of my own mum’s more demonic and explosive episodes when my brother, sister and I were navigating our teenage years back in the 80’s - and dodging hairbrushes launched by my mum when the darkness descended and a more irrational side showed itself! So that’s why I’d come home from my part-time job at Tesco and find the ENTIRE contents of my bedroom piled up in the middle of the room (on more than one occasion) because I hadn’t put some clean clothes away when I’d been asked to! I realise now Mum was perimenopausal - at the same time as teaching five days a week and raising three moody, unhelpful teenagers.
Jenny and Kate deal with the subject matter so well - and in such a funny way - and I actually phoned my mum last night to apologise, and we ended up chatting about perimenopause and the menopause itself - and laughing about it too! She denied all knowledge of flying hairbrushes though! I didn’t argue!
Well done Jenny and Kate.
Five stars all day long! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
