Very Thought Provoking and Insightful

I love this podcast because Michael is so good at listening and asking questions that help the interviewee really feel at ease and tell their story how it was. Tough topics are covered in sensative and respectful ways. It really is a great insight into the lives and minds of the British military community.

Powerful & Emotive

Michael the host gives the guests space and time to reveal some hugely powerful, emotive and at times, harrowing memories in these podcasts. This can, at times, leave some of the episodes a challenging but riveting listen. Despite this, most are stories of redemption, over coming challenge and strength through friendships. I do not find being a ‘civvy’ listener a bar as these themes are universal and the host ensures context when needed. I look forward to hearing more.
