People are good. You might not think that if you listen to traditional news, but that's a lie. Everyday heroes and saints live among us and my goal is to introduce them to you.We are inspired by the words of Mother Teresa, "Do something beautiful for God. Do it with your life. Do it every day. Do it in your own way. But do it!” Leah Darrow, former model and contestant on America's Next Top Model, draws on her experience in the beauty industry to expose the lies we are told about our worth being tied to our appearance and instead invites us to look again at the real meaning of beauty in service to mankind.

Loving these podcasts, they have been a lifeline!

I’ve just finished the first series of Leah’s podcasts and can I say how wonderful they are! Since my little girl was diagnosed with type1 diabetes last year and I left my teaching job to be a full time carer, it feels like I’m very isolated both in my social life and my faith. These podcasts make me laugh, make me think, connect me deeper with God and my Catholic faith and give me the strength needed to carry out my vocation as a stay at home mum, wife and carer. The guests are amazing and Leah’s warmth, comedy and empathy (especially with women and mothers) makes the listener feel like they are part of an intimate chat with friends. Can’t wait to listen to the rest of the series.

The Perfect Catholic Podcast

I've tried most of the Catholic podcasts out there, and Do Something Beautiful is like mama bear's porridge- just right! I listen while working, it combines the right depth of theloogy with and upbeat atmosphere. The focus on doing something practical and achievable for everyone is what makes it a useful podcast. The variety of guests are selected really well, and as a graphic designer, being recommended Cassie Pease's work is really relevant and vocation-affirming to myself. Keep up the great work Leah! Thank you!

Personal, Beautiful and Inspiring

I have literally spent the last three days listening to this podcast!! ALL DAY for the past three days, when I wake up, doing my chores, at the gym, everywhere, before bed, literally all day!! I had been stuck in a bit of a rut in my life and spiritual life recently, most of all because of how down in the dumps my social media use had been getting me. In an effort to brighten up my social media feeds I had come across Leah Darrow on Twitter and Instagram. I had seen her post about her podcast regularly but never taken the time to listen to it until this week. Leah is so open and honest about all her life experiences and it’s so refreshing to a young woman at university who is making mistakes and learning along the way, her honesty makes her so easy to relate to and learn from. The interview and conversation style makes you feel as if you’re sitting in the room with her and all of her guests are so inspiring, each in different ways. To hear people talk openly and candidly about their relationship with God, to share something so personal out of their love for Him and for other people in this world is beautiful. Perhaps the most wonderful thing about this podcast is that you can smile, laugh, cry, feel, empathise and get a glimpse into so much of the human experience from just a 40 minute episode (or even 14 mins! “Press On! The Beauty of Perseverence” gave me so much motivation)! Leah Darrow, I am so grateful for this podcast and you are in my prayers!! God Bless!!
