I've been really enjoying listening to these podcasts; they've been consistently entertaining, surprising and thought provoking. Hearing about life from a British 40+ gay man's perspective, is a fabulous counter-balance to the "dead at 25" perspective that a lot of "our" media throws at us. Especially for those of us some way past 25...
I recommend starting with episode 18 which provides a great (and emotional) trip through the political history of the LGBTQ community in the UK with some excellent personal observations/anecdotes too. I thought I had Matt pegged as "only" a droll theatre geek (which he is obvs.) so I was bowled over to hear about his involvement in OUTRAGE! and also the discussions about race, class and gender that thread through each episodes often amusing, frequently enjoyable reflections on life, art, culture, Drag race and Katy Perry.
Keep it up Mr K!
