Vaccine Guidance from Helen's Notes
In the early weeks of the Course’s dictation, Helen Schucman received three pieces of guidance about whether her co-scribe Bill Thetford should get a flu shot. At the time, there was even the possibility of the flu becoming an epidemic.
In this podcast, Circle founder Robert Perry and executive director Emily Bennington cover the guidance Helen received as well as addressing some of the questions being raised within our community about how we can apply this guidance to the current pandemic.
Bill Thetford's Journal
A Course in Miracles Co-scribe Bill Thetford kept what appears to be a journal of Course application for two months—August and September—in 1966, just shy of a year from when A Course in Miracles began coming through (in October of 1965).
In this episode of our Exploring A Course in Miracles podcast, Robert Perry and Emily Bennington share 11 examples from Bill’s journal that give us a window into the inspiring ways in which he sought to practice the course.
An Interview with Carol Howe
As a close friend of A Course in Miracles co-scribe, the late Bill Thetford, Carol Howe authored an intimate account of Bill’s life entitled, Never Forget To Laugh: Personal Recollections of Bill Thetford (https://amzn.to/3qD1pi5 - affiliate link).

Jesus' Life as an Example of Course Principles
The life of Jesus has moved people the world over like no other. But we have often put Jesus’ life in a frame where the main purpose was to demonstrate his divinity. What if we put it in a different frame? What if we see Jesus’ life as a concrete demonstration of the principles of A Course in Miracles?
Join Robert and Emily for a discussion on what inspiration and guidance we can we gain from Jesus’ example in our own lives.
The best ACIM podcast
Robert Perry is a real scholar of the Course with unparalleled knowledge of what the Course itself says. He does not offer his own version or interpretation of what he thinks it could mean, but always thoughtfully draws on his incredible ability to cross reference and explain what is ACTUALLY written.
These podcast conversations with Emily Bennington are very helpful and enlightening. They take one aspect of the Course in each episode, and flesh it out so that it is relatable and can be applied in a practical way. Even when the topics are complex and metaphysical.
As most episodes are based on in-depth articles Robert has written, and which are freely available, this is an incredible study resource for serious Course Students and Teachers.
(If you enjoy the podcast, you’ll probably love the many resources at circleofa.org and might also want to take a look at Course Companions which is the membership site/group also hosted by Robert and Emily. It has seriously accelerated my understanding and ability to integrate Course teachings. I am so grateful to have found them.)
I really enjoy listening to Emily and Robert talking about ACIM. Have found each episode wonderfully insightful and inspiring. You complement each other beautifully. Thank you.
Simply the best...
ACIM Radio is awesome. Why? If you're like me, you love ACIM and you like to talk seriously about it. Emily and Robert are undoubtedly two of the best people to listen to on all aspects of the Course. Plus, the sound quality: it's good compared to most other ACIM podcasts and that matters if you're listening on the go. There are always copious notes to look at if you need to too.
