I am going off this pod which is a shame. I still enjoy aspects of it. The analysis of Traitor / Faithful strategy is always interesting and adds to my enjoyment of the show. I always listen to the pod the morning after the episode and it’s part of the Traitors show to me. I love the funny, camp vibe, the bickering, and the long-running in-jokes (do you ride a bike to work?). At its best it can be fun, funny, silly, insightful, camp, and highly entertaining.
It would be 5/5 apart from the misogyny. It’s just getting harder and harder to ignore or to excuse. Whether it’s “three blond interchangeable white women” from an earlier series. Or always taking an immediate, OTT, exaggerated dislike to one of the women, never to one of the men. Or the sexualised and rather nasty “joke” targeting a female celebrity in the UK celeb season. Or the regular roasting of females in the public eye that they disagree with. It’s drip, drip, drip and is quite telling.
I’m not quite at the point of not listening but I’m getting there. Check your privilege guys and please leave the misogyny behind.
