This is a wonderfully-acted, excellently-improvised and exquisitely-created podcast which is deep, thought-provoking and hilarious in equal parts. I’m still a few episodes behind but loving every single one. Rather than one long campaign as most actual play podcasts are, this is a series of vignettes featuring different characters around the world, and each one is as perfectly-produced as the last. I was disappointed at the end of A Djinn’s Wish because I didn’t want it to end, but that lasted until about 3 minutes into Smuggler’s Run which is equally excellent.
As I am running out of superlatives, I will simply say that I cannot recommend this more highly. It’s easily on a par with other excellent shows such as Critical Role and One Shot (and their spin-offs), and is just as accessible for fans of fantasy stories in general who have little interest in D&D or other RPGs.
