    Interim Pro Vice-Chancellor and Executive Dean, led the Faculty of Arts, Design and Media, the largest of its kind in the UK, and was a member of the executive board at Birmingham City University. Senior roles at University of the Arts London, Kingston University, University of Brighton, and Ravensbourne University London.Professor of Illustration, lectured and delivered keynote presentations in over 25 countries. Author of nine published books on graphic arts, including Fifty Years of Illustration, Ladybird by Design, The Fundamentals of Illustration and Digital Illustration and contributed to publications that include Computer Arts, Creative Review and Varoom.
