Alignment yoga for everyone | Momoyoga Community Chat #7 | Sanne Reijers - Yoga Shala Mayura

In this seventh episode of the Community chats, Sanne Reijers from Yoga Shala Mayura shares how her career as a yoga teacher started. Sanne has been practicing yoga for 12 years now and started teaching 6 years ago. She is passionate about alignments. Straight after completing the yoga teacher training, she started promoting her yoga classes and rented a small place to teach. According to herself, she went “all in” by making it her full-time job. Alignment is emphasized in her classes and she provides alternatives to traditional poses. She believes this makes yoga accessible to a wider audience and keeps her practice interesting. In the future, she wants to start chair yoga classes for the elderly and expand the team of yoga teachers. Sanne is excited about the upcoming year and the opportunities it will bring. She wants to continue to grow and try new things, while also being inclusive and accessible to all. She believes that yoga can benefit everyone, regardless of their age or ability.👍 LIKE if you enjoyed this video! 🔔 SUBSCRIBE to be notified of new Community Chats!* Find more interviews and information to become the best yoga entrepreneur: https://www.momoyoga.com/en/become-the-best-yoga-entrepreneur* If you are ready to share your experience and tips with other yoga teachers, you can sign up for a Community Chat with Momoyoga here: https://www.momoyoga.com/en/cc-sign-up * Yoga Shala Mayura: https://www.yogashalamayura.nl/

Teaching yoga online on the Go | Momoyoga Community Chat #6 with Margarita Viviani from Vivi Yoga

Margarita Viviani from Vivi Yoga will share her experience with teaching yoga online while travelling through Europe. She offers online classes in yoga for women, pregnancy, meditation, and Ayurveda workshops. A few live classes are held through Zoom, but Margarita prefers to stick to pre-recorded classes due to her nomadic lifestyle and potential connection issues. In her experience online teaching can be challenging, but is worth it to reach a wider audience. Margarita believes that there is too much perfection in yoga and wants to share classes rather than striving for perfection. Her teachings include helping women understand their cycles and live in a way that is true to themselves. She offers one-on-one online sessions with women and is a big fan of Ajurveda. In her experience yoga and Ayurveda are two sisters. And she emphasizes the importance of living what you teach, especially as a yoga teacher. She has learned to listen to herself and align with her own needs, and encourages others to do the same in her classes and one-on-one sessions. 👍 LIKE if you enjoyed this video! 🔔 SUBSCRIBE to be notified of new Community Chats! * Find more interviews and information to become the best yoga entrepreneur: https://www.momoyoga.com/en/become-the-best-yoga-entrepreneur * If you are ready to share your experience and tips with other yoga teachers, you can sign up for a Community Chat with Momoyoga here: https://www.momoyoga.com/en/cc-sign-up * Vivi Yoga: https://www.momoyoga.com/vivi-yoga/teacher-profile

Hosting in house retreats | Momoyoga Community chat #4 with Lilla & Peter from Our Yoga Mind

In this fourth episode of the Community chats, Lilla Lukacs and Peter Orosz from Our Yoga Mind introduce themselves and their journeys as yoga teachers. They started teaching together six years ago, after moving to the beautiful island of Mallorca. Their mission is to create transformational experiences, focusing on mindful yoga, inviting contact with nature, the beach and the mountains, while slowly shifting more towards retreats, hosting people in their home to help them step out of their busy lives and, at times, overcome trauma thanks to a multi-faceted approach. Indeed, Lilla and Peter's teaching approach is truly holistic, combining various aspects of yoga, including pranayama, meditation, and asana practice with a solid foundation of psychotherapy thanks to Lilla and online and offline breath-work courses thanks to Peter. They aim to balance their offerings, providing in-person, online, and retreat experiences. They believe in empowering individuals and helping them connect with their inner selves. Their journey together began with a life-changing experience in India. This experience led them to question their previous beliefs and lifestyle, including misconceptions about meat and masculinity for Peter. They discovered a new connection to their bodies and internal organs, which motivated them to share the benefits of yoga with others. 👍 LIKE if you enjoyed this video!  🔔 SUBSCRIBE to be notified of new Community Chats!
