    May Transfer Roundup

    May Transfer Roundup

In the first episode of the new season Max is joined by Caz May, Duke Newcombe, and Benji Dean to discuss a busy few weeks in BS7.

With the arrival of 4 new signings, the gang talk over Paul Coutts' qualities, Mark Hughes' experience, the tenacity of Sam Finley, and what attributes Nick Anderton can bring to the squad. In addition to this, the departures of Luke Leahy and more recently James Daly are hot on the agenda.

Abu Ogogo's potential re-signing is a topic of interest to Caz, whilst the sudden decision to sell several youth prospects to Aston Villa has Max questioning the purpose of an academy. Benji talks about the "Baldwin/Ehmer/Harries dilemma", while the future of Zain Westbrooke has Duke puzzled.

SCOUT REPORT: Sam Finley and Paul Coutts ft Cods Vlogs

SCOUT REPORT: Sam Finley and Paul Coutts ft Cods Vlogs

Mets caught up with Ben from Cod Vlogs to run the rule over ex-Fleetwood pair Sam Finley and Paul Coutts.

Ben is upset to see Finley go, describing him as 'a lower league Steven Gerrard'.  A player that can dive his team forward with a nasty streak, Ben thinks he'll be fantastic in League Two.

Paul Coutts will bring defensive solidity to the midfield with bags of experience. His leadership on the pitch will be invaluable and is an area Rovers severely lacked last season.

Lastly Ben talks about Barton and why he thinks it was the right time for him to leave Fleetwood.

Mets mourns the loss of Tom Davies, Harley’s keen to see Akinde back and Neno doesn’t want Jaakkola as the Rovers #1.

    L1 Relegation - Pt.1

    L1 Relegation - Pt.1

After a condemning 2-0 defeat to the MK Dons, Rovers are all but mathematically relegated to the fourth tier. Neno is joined by Max, Harley, and Duke to get their immediate thoughts on the Gas sinking to the basement division, and the end to a five-season stint in League One.

In Part 1 of a two-part special, the boys take a look at the men in charge during the disasterous campaign, and which of the three managers were most responsible for Rovers' downfall. In addition to this, the boardroom are also questioned and whether the decisions behind the scenes were reactionary or part of a bigger plan.

Harley defends Ben Garner, Duke talks fancy underpants, and Max discusses commentating on a relegation. Tune in for a cathartic assessment of all the dross, courtesy of GasCast.

    Luke McCorker

    Luke McCorker

Mets, Harley, Neno and Max take a look back at the bank holiday fixtures for the Gas. A disappointing 2-1 loss at Portman Road was followed up with a 2-1 against Donny at the Mem to give Rovers survival bid a huge boost.

They dissect a game where star man Luke McCormick scored a brace, Cian Harries killed a man and Neno commentated.

Bartons love/hate for the referees is looked at as well as his social media habits.

They look forward to the crunch game against Northampton at Sixfields and answer some interesting fan questions.

Love the pod. Great content for gas heads all over. Some more post match content and reviews of games straight after would be good but not everyone is a content creator by trade and these guys have jobs and lives to attend to so fully understand why there isn’t so much. Keep up the good work. UTG
