Next up Clayton, Tamzyn and Sam review Beacon 23, and it’s unanimous. The series seemingly emerged out of nowhere, leaving everyone wondering why they hadn’t heard about it earlier. Every aspect of the series is a delightful surprise, prompting the question: is it possible that the series surpasses the book? Consistently engaging and filled with hope for the future of AI, the teams fascinating discussion delves into the intricacies of personal AI and its impact.

Clayton and Tamzyn then journey into the final series of Star Trek: Discovery, where each episode offers a unique experience with ample screen time for most characters. Will this video game adaptation of ‘Fallout’ get the seal of approval from a serious gamer? Is Clayton’s computer to powerful to play the game? Does this retro futurism game-based narrative pull apart our nostalgia goggles in a post-atomic/apocalyptic adventure? you will have to tune in to find out.

Abigail, in the meantime, is a whole lot of fun. This film is exactly what it says on the box: a fun, campy popcorn horror movie with bodies exploding like balloons and heads rolling galore!

Next up, “Invincible” earns Miranda’s stamp of approval. The question is are the heroes in this ultra-violent superhero series attempting something noble? The discussion reveals that the adaptation surpasses the source material and delves into why anime comics sometimes lack depth in minor characters. Additionally, it’s noted that the show’s violence exceeds Clayton’s usual preferences.

Then, we dive into “The Transformers: The Movie.” Is it merely a glorified toy commercial? Who cares when it’s so enjoyable to revisit? Dust off your Transformer toys, grab a bowl of popcorn, and indulge in this 1986 cinematic treat.

Miranda praises the movie’s bright, colourful, and relentless action, while Clayton affectionately describes it as a beautiful mess that’s a whole lot of fun.

Miranda would like to issues an apology for mistakenly stating the release date of “Transformers: The Movie” as 1984 instead of 1986 on air. For this ‘crime,’ Miranda has been sentenced to the planet Accurate, a forbidding interplanetary prison colony, to serve 1,000 years in repentance. However, with time off for great reviewing, Miranda will be back next week.
