Gender Reveal

As a cis, straight, Harry Potter fan, I started listening to this podcast to learn more about other peoples experiences. I’m learning so much, and have recommended this podcast to my friends and families. I don’t agree with everything said on the podcast (not a fan of all the hating on cis white men - feel like easy targets here). But can’t stop listening. It’s making think a lot too about my own experiences as a brown woman, just a lot of thoughts!

This podcast is super educational and as a white person has really opened my eyes to perspectives I was not aware of, it has also allowed me to realise that as a trans person I don’t have to be palatable to cis people, and now feel so much more confident in my trans identity :) Thanks Tuck!

Gender Reveal is amazing. Congratulations to Tuck and producer Julia! Tuck is a fun, funny and incisive host. Their approach to interviewing is so thoughtful and the range of guests is excellent. Severe chronic illness means that I’m cut off from society in general and queer community in particular. Gender Reveal allows me to feel part of all the awesome conversations I can’t have in person. Tuck starts each episode by saying ‘I hope you’re all hanging in there’ and that makes me feel very seen. Thank you so much!
