‘Get Your Comic On’ is a labour of love created by three friends sitting in a bumper car on London’s South Bank on 26th July 2013 after an unsuccessful attempt to attend San Diego Comic Con. Having had a great holiday talk turned to how best to try and get tickets for 2015 without relying on the ticket lottery.

After several fruity ciders we came upon the idea to become journalists, creative a successful website and get ourselves press passes to the next SDCC. The next morning, despite hangovers a Twitter, Tumblr and Facebook were all created and the design process started. We now have a whole plethora of social media accounts for you to follow us on.

Flash forward to one year and over 100 posts later and we might not be attending SDCC as journalists but two out of the three will be attending the con as paying guests for the first time. The Twitter regularly fills up the feeds of users all over the world, the Facebook posts are reaching hundreds of users and the Tumblr is making a name for itself.

But alas all good things cannot last and we have rapidly outgrown Tumblr and thus getyourcomicon.co.uk was born!

Holy smoke, GYCO!

Two unbelievely lovely podcast hosts who are just so enthusiastic and knowledgable about all things film, TV and particularly comic books. If you're a huge DC fan, this is definitely the podcast for you!

Hello Martin 👋🏻

A very different podcast I have listened to in the past. A good mix of film, television, conventions and comics. Respect the hosts points of view and how they review and share their opinions. Look forward to every episode.
