Still slightly racist
These guys offer fun sumo discussion and punishments (?!) but are still slightly racist. For example why do they tell me to throw my saltire(Scottish Flag) every episode? What do they have against the Scots?
Great Sumo Podcast
Love this podcast. The presenters have some serious sumo knowledge but present it in a really interesting and engaging way. I really look forward to every new podcast.
Essential for Sumo fans
I'm really glad to have found this podcast recently. I'm based in the UK and have been a fan of Sumo for 2 years, and have kept up using numerous sources online. What I like a bout GSM is it offers a much lighter side to Sumo coverage. A lot of other news sources, while they are as well-informed and insightful, can be a bit dry and straight faced. I've particularly the podcast episodes that dive deep into history, such as the episodes on Wajima and Mongolian wrestling, as well as the retirement episodes on Kisenosato and Haramafuji.
I actually conisdered doing my own Sumo podcast with a friend, as we felt there was a sore need for one in the world for the English speaking audience. But now i feel there is no need, as GSM has it covered! I'm glad to have found a podcast made by people with as much passion, if not more passion than I have for this amazing sport.
