I first discovered Granta Magazine in Waterstones Preston in 1999 and became obsessed. Now in 2024, post pandemic and post my subscription expiring some years ago, I hope this is just the thing I need to get me back in touch with it.

Very much enjoyed this episode. The interviewers struck the right note, expressing knowledge about the body of the writer’s work, while allowing him a good amount of time to express his opinions about his work, about writing / publishing in general and the effect of world politics on writing. Very good. J Alex C

Listened to the Kamila Shamsie interview. The interviewer had a good set of questions and the pace was not too hurried. I liked how the interviewer could get the author to talk about not just some of the finer details, but also what her work meant in the bigger picture of socio-political impact.
