This man is literally the most interesting man in the world! Today, we dive into his life and really start understanding what it was that motivated Leland to go from poverty to teaching physics! This man has literally done everything from selling insurance to working in a factory, driving a truck, to sailing the world! This podcast was created with my Marines in mind, as we are preparing to deploy, and we will not be able to meet all of their girlfriends before we leave. In this podcast, we tell you our story and how we overcame a deployment and built a strong relationship that is unlike any other. We are truly best friends and love life together. Guys, we have to take some time to do things that she enjoys. This is a two way street though. It is important that each partner knows and understands what the other enjoys doing. In this podcast, I talk about a scenario where I spent time with Jessica doing crazy CrossFit workouts, even though I am a competitive bodybuilder. We want to encourage you to take the first steps to increase your relationship. Today, sit down with your partner and talk. Tell him or her two things that you really like about him or her and one thing that you would like for him or her to change or improve upon. Have respect and REALLY listen to what he or she is saying. Also, never stop dating. Date just like you did when you first met. This is important! Episode 002 - The Power Of Having A Vision

Episode 002 – The Power of Having a Vision Welcome to Greatness Defined! This week we will be discussing the importance of having a vision! Before we get started, thank you guys for making my dream and vision a reality!! You guys are phenomenal!! In the first week, we have received over 10,000 views! How insane is that? You guys are amazing and I am so grateful for each and every single one of you! Today, the three areas of focus are: 1. Why we should have a vision 2. How to Create a Vision a. How it helps in knowing and understanding who you truly are b. We also touch on the Law of Attraction again 3. Create Steps to Success a. Being as Specific as possible 1.) Why Should We Have a Vision? Having a vision will help you know yourself and live a purposeful life. Recently, a lot of people have come to me asking advice as to how to find purpose in life and be on track to obtaining their dream job. So to start off, answer these fives questions: • What do I stand for? • What is my purpose in life? • What are the most important characteristics that you live by? • What do I dislike about myself and how I can improve it? • What do I absolutely love about myself? Law of Attraction in brief: Believing will lead to seeing. You MUST visualize yourself in your vision EVERYDAY. Try to meditate. How to Create a Vision Here are some basic questions to ask when you are trying to create your vision in life: • If you could do one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be? • What are some steps that you must accomplish prior to having your desired end state? o Set specific goals o See yourself doing it everyday! • Live and identify yourself by your dream. o Live as if you already have the desired title that you want! YOU CAN DO ANYTHING IN THIS LIFE THAT YOU WANT. DO NOT LISTEN TO THE NAY SAYERS. DO WHATEVER IT TAKES!!! “I love when people tell me it can’t be done. No one has ever done that before. It is the most important thing, even if others are not 100% supportive. Make yourself happy and the others will follow you. 3.) Create Specific Steps to Enforce Your Vision If I only planned to eat clean, I would not have had the body I wanted for bodybuilding. I had to plan ahead and ensure that I was eating my macros, hitting my morning cardio, working the specific muscle group to ensure that everything was nice and even. I also had to get the correct amount of sleep I need to ensure I am recovering properly. Exercise to do everyday, The Perfect Day. Create your perfect day. What is the perfect day for you? What time are you waking up? What are you doing next? When are you going to work? When are you going to read? When are you going to bed? Etc. Once you have your schedule out, practice discipline! Start living your perfect day everyday. Print it out and put it everywhere! Set reminders on your phone so you can stay strict to your plan! You guys are awesome.
