John was born with spina bifida and was the first stipendiary (paid) clergyman to use a wheelchair. There is a perception in our society (and in the church) that you can’t be disabled and lead. We believe all people have the ability to connect with God and make a positive difference in our world. At Growing Hope, we want to encourage and enable people to do what God has created them to do. John has some fantastic advice about following God’s calling. We hope you enjoy the episode!

Wonderful

Mark and Naomi are such great people to listen to, they are full of wisdom in their own rights, and are actively seeking to improve accessibility and give disabled individuals a chance to tell their stories.
It was so encouraging to hear Emily’s story, and how God is using her and impacting her life. I look forward to listening to the rest of the series on my long training runs!
