Missing Richard Simmons

Like most people in England, my exposure to Richard Simmons is pretty light. I kinda knew who he was before I started listening, but he certainly wasn't known to me personally as a cultural icon. So why did I listen to this podcast? Well, I like a good mystery! I'm really glad I checked it out. The podcast is about Richard Simmons (obviously), but it's also about life in general; people, relationships. I learnt about Richard, a learnt about people.

Dan Taberski is a very engaging presenter. I would highly recommend giving this a listen - even if you don't know who Richard is, and didn't know he was missing.

Lovelovelove

I absolutely LOVED both of these podcasts. The story telling is amazing, interesting and fun, and the stories are touching. In the last episode about the y2k bug I cried. Just beautiful great use of music and all round, just lovely! Thank you! I can’t wait for season 3.

A wonderful collection of stories

I love Dan’s writing. He has brought a collection of very different and unconnected stories - except for their connection with what happened (or didn’t happen) at the turn of the millennium and turned them into a wonderful podcast. Beautifully written and narrated. Loved it!!
