Binged it.

Good podcast, but would be a lot better without the music and sound effects behind the talking it's so distracting and annoying, it dosnt need it.

There’s a lot I have forgotten about my experience growing up in Evangelical churches so this storytelling was really meaningful as I examine and rebuild a new life away from the faith of my youth. At times I wanted Tara to be a little harsher, a little meaner about the topics and events covered.... but by the end I really respected her kindness and honest storytelling. I appreciated the way she respectfully engaged this story, it’s events, and the people involved.

Interesting nuanced and detailed. As someone unexpectedly swept into evangelical Christianity at university in the U.K. this hits hard and hugs warmly. I remember envying people who were ‘bold’ enough to go prayer treasure hunting. Hah... today I am comfortable in a simpler faith.
