HIV in Focus

HIV in Focus is a podcast that shines a spotlight on HIV, hosted by Dr Naomi Sutton, Consultant Physician at Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust. Listen as she is joined by experts to discuss the biggest barriers to the care and well-being of people with HIV, while tackling misconceptions and misinformation to set the record straight about HIV. This podcast also provides practical advice and resources for healthcare professionals to deliver accessible and equitable care, and reduce stigma in healthcare settings. Series 1 is developed for healthcare professionals working in or close to the HIV specialty, raising awareness of key issues facing people with HIV today, with practical advice provided by esteemed experts in their field. Series 2 addresses the misconceptions and misinformation surrounding HIV, particularly in non-HIV healthcare settings. HIV has changed and it is important for healthcare professionals both in and outside of the HIV space to understand the landscape today, and ultimately support people with HIV to live their best lives. The HIV in Focus podcast has been created and fully funded by Gilead Sciences Ltd and intended for healthcare professionals based in the UK and Ireland.
