Hockey chat & beyond
You could tell this was a new venture for Gary in the first few podcasts, it felt he didn’t quite get to the meat of the conversation or perhaps the purpose.
The last 4-5 have been game changers for me as a coach. The conversations I’ve been having with colleagues are being sparked from this podcast. I feel you may only get one or two takeaways from any podcast but how you use them is vital.
I needed extra thoughts on goalkeepers & boom Danny Crowther was interviewed. The rule changes with David Elworthy that impact a season are clearly detailed & allow you to be creative with session design.
Then there’s the empowering. Coaches happy to share ideas, thoughts, experiences & again create sparks for you to ignite your own coaching.
These podcasts have become my commuting dream & are changing the way I approach coaching/teaching delivery.
Highly recommend
Great podcast with a fantastic variety of guests. Would recommend to anyone with a keen interest in all things hockey. Super work from Gary - well done!

Really great to hear how other aspects of hockey are developing. Always great to hear about Kels journey as a coach. I found the conversation with York hockey club very interesting as it is very difficult to attract new players at the moment. Keep it up Gary.
