Hot Mess, But Blessed

when my father passed I had no one I could turn too not even my mother or sister. He was my stepfather but to me he was my Dad, someone i loved unconditionally and looked up to. He had Cancer and towards the end he was at home and i had to watch him die slowly in pain it hit me so very hard and So i took to drink to ease my pain and block out the trauma of seeing him suffer. Now i’m not condoning heavy drinking in any way or form to avoid the trauma and stress, i think that what you’re doing in this podcast is amazing and i think that if i had talked about it rather than try to hide my pain things might have been different today.
