Amazing library for self-builders (and others)
Ben has created an amazing library of self-build information. Essential listening for those considering a project, either now or in the future.
House Planning Help
I broke ground on my retrofit and extension build of family’s home 12 months ago. I wished I had found this podcast series before I planned my project as it has been immensely helpful. HPH has proven the more you know about building good homes and related fields the more you realise you don’t.
For both building professionals, and laymen like myself, the show is very accessible and informative. It’s not too dry either and the guests who are either experts in their building fields or people who have gone through a new build or retrofit project provide a wealth of experience and insight.
A fantastic resource…
I have now listened to every single episode and finally joined the hub. What a fantastic resource for anyone building or retrofitting a home whether that be a self builder or ‘professional’ contractor. Learn learn learn and we might just build better homes. I’ve built my own passivhaus and now starting a deep retrofit barn conversion for my mother-in-law. Never stop learning. Great work Ben keep it going. Stuart in South Yorkshire.
