    Static Apnea World Champion - Florian Dagoury

    Today I welcome Mr Ten Minutes, Florian Dagoury to the podcast. He is a free diving instructor currently based in Thailand and for the past 10 years him and his team have taught over 7,000 students, 300 free diving instructors and coached many champions along the way. In his early years he was mainly trained in deep diving, achieving a 90 metre dive in just one breath. 
    Over the following years he developed a soft spot for static apnea and made it his priority, hitting 10 and a half minutes which was seen as a world number one performance. Florian sees his discipline as a way to develop basic abilities including; deep relaxation, co2 tolerance, hypoxia resistance, lung capacity and mental techniques.

Brilliant series of fascinating conversations.

David’s podcasts are in-depth explorations of what makes us work as humans, and how we can optimise the different facets of our health, showcasing these through detailed conversations with a variety of individuals. I don’t generally go for longer podcasts - it’s hard enough to find 30 minutes in my day, never mind over an hour or closer to two - but it is well worth finding the time to listen when these podcasts come out. David’s approach is open and questioning and this really helps me focus my mind onto what I can take from his guest and build into my own life. Well worth subscribing to this one.

These podcasts are great conversations on different approaches to a better and healthier lifestyle. If you are looking for something positive to keep you motivated or even learn from then I suggest giving this a listen!

Fantastic and fascinating!

I’m always shy of committing to longer podcasts however this one tickled my fancy because there was mention of skiing and yoga with an intrigue as to how the world of illegal drug related !
Within minutes of starting to listen I was hooked by the amazing story. Tales you’d not be able to script for a film let alone imagine really happed to him with such a wonderful & positive ending.
Highly recommended!
