Catholic Forum began as a radio program in Wilmington, Delaware USA in 1939 making it the longest running Catholic discussion (non-liturgical) program in the United States. It is still on the air in the Diocese of Wilmington, but it is now available as a podcast. A new podcast debuts each Wednesday at 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time and includes an update of local, national and international Catholic news and a 20-22 minute interview on a topic of interest to the Catholic community of Delaware, Maryland's Eastern Shore and beyond.

    Water is Life Kenya - Bob Krebs & Aaron Lemma (Catholic Forum Vault)

    Pope Leo XIV's prayer intention for September is for the care of water. On this Catholic Forum interview from the vault, Bob Krebs talks with Aaron Lemma, Director of US Operations for Water is Life Kenya. This locally-based organization is bringing fresh drinking water and hope to the Maasai people of the African plain. Aaron tells us how a horrible act of terror on September 11th began a sequence of events that triggered countless acts of love for the women, children and men of the Kilimanjaro region of Kenya.     In the second half of this extended interview for Catholic Forum, Fr. Anthony Andreassi, CO joins the show to contine discussing his work as a historian and author writing about the Catholic Faith in early America. Fr. Andreassi holds a masters and a doctorate in American History from Georgetown University. To commemorate the 250th Anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, Fr.
