Boring Books for Bedtime Readings to Help You Sleep
Boring Books for Bedtime is a weekly sleep podcast in which we calmly, quietly read something rather boring to silence the brain chatter keeping you awake. Think Aristotle, Thoreau, and whoever wrote the 1897 Sears Catalog—mostly nonfiction, mostly old, a perfect blend of vaguely-but-not-too interesting. If you're on Team Sleepless, lie back, take a deep breath, and let us read you to rest.

Really helps me sleep

This podcast is exactly what I was looking for to help me fall asleep. The only problem is that sometimes I actually find the book interesting and then I stay awake to listen 🤣
Delightfully Sleep-Inducing

I really can’t rate this podcast highly enough! It works wonders on getting my brain to stop whirring at night and I’m often asleep before I get a chance to even remember what the reading was about. Even on the rare occasions it doesn’t put me to sleep straight away, all the the books usually teach me something new about a topic I had no idea about before. Also massively appreciate that there’s no ads whatsoever even for free listeners, which is a very rare thing in podcasts! This podcast is a delight all round.
Great voice for this!

Have enjoyed listening, I would love to hear the dictionary read out with no breaks as if reading a list. The list of items needed at a cheese factory gave me the idea! Loved that part.
Just brilliant!

Came across BBB searching for help getting to sleep. Listening to Sharon reading Mrs Beatons book of household management worked a treat. Looking forward to more:)
