    Decision Time: Will VGK Tender Offer Sheet For Dorofeyev By Monday's Deadline?

    The Golden Knights will risk losing Pavel Dorofeyev if they don't tender an offer sheet by Monday's 2pm PT deadline.  Dorofeyev is making less than $2-million and could command between $8-9m per year according to analysts.  If the Golden Knights fail to meet the deadline, they will be put in a bad place as Dorofeyev would immediately become an Unrestricted Free Agent.  Teams would have between July1 to July 5 to match an offer sheet.  Adin Hill is a piece VGK needs to get rid of during the offseason and there is a possible suitor in New Jersey according to one insider.  And, we discuss the trend of Captain's asking to be traded.  FANDUEL DISCLAIMER: 21+ in select states.     VGK Roster Overhaul

    The Golden Knights could be facing a complete overhaul in its roster over the off-season.  There could be 6-10 new players in the lineup next season.  That includes a mix of free agent signings, traded and internal promotions.  The NHL and VGK released the pre-season schedule.  It's only four games for each team because the NHL is expanding the regular season to 84 games.  The preseason winds up against the Sharks at T-Mobile Arena on Sept. 26 And, the season will begin three days later.  Teams will play each divisional rival four times this upcoming season.  And, Bill Foley announced Monday that he has launched a big to bring an NBA franchise to Las Vegas.     Golden Knights still in the mix for Dylan Larkin, fan on Brady Tkachuk

    The Golden Knights are still in the mix to get Dylan Larkin, the current Red Wings captain, via a trade.  VGK, Florida and Minnesota are the top three choices for the center.  It is believed that the Golden Knights would have to move its leading goal-scorer Pavel Dorofeyev and add some other pieces to complete the trade.  Jack Eichel and Larkin are friends.  Adding Larkin would give VGK a 30-30 player on its second line. It would also pair him with Mitch Marner and Brett Howden.  The Golden Knights were not successful in the bid to acquire Brady Tkachuk, who joins his brother in Florida to form a potent second line with Sam Bennett in the middle.  VGK didn't have the assets available for starters - as the Panthers gave up four draft picks, including two this year.  And we continue with our coverage of the Bruce Cassidy saga, as a report said VGK was upset the Oilers wanted to get permission to interview Cassidy while they still had a head coach.    FANDUEL DISCLAIMER: 21+ in select states.     McCrimmon Takes Control Was Torts' Fate Sealed All Along?

    Was it VGK's front office that let John Tortorella go?  After Game 6 Torts said he wanted to continue coaching, but his contract with the Golden Knights was just through the end of the season  Does VGK already have a plan in place as many suspect, to sign former VGK assistant and current Silver Knights head coach Ryan Craig as the next head coach.
