Reinventing Your Career After 60: Building a Brand, Business & Life on Your Terms with Tori Eurton

What if your most exciting career chapter is still ahead of you? In this episode of the She Believed She Could™ Podcast, Allison Walsh sits down with Tori Eurton, founder of 23.Marketing, fractional Chief Brand Officer, and brand growth strategist, to explore career reinvention, entrepreneurship, personal growth, and what it means to build a life and business on your own terms. With more than four decades of experience in marketing and branding, Tori has worked with some of the world's most recognizable brands, including Disney, Universal Studios, LEGO, and WWE. Her career has spanned advertising, brand management, real estate development, agency leadership, international launches, and investor relations. She also served on a leadership team that guided a global themed entertainment company through a SPAC merger and onto the Nasdaq. But Tori's story isn't just about professional success. At 62, she chose to step away from corporate life and reignite the business she originally launched with her husband, Chris. Today, through 23.Marketing, she helps visionary founders and businesses build brand value, develop growth strategies, and bring their ideas to life through fractional marketing leadership. Tori and Allison discuss why your career doesn't have to follow a linear path, how exploring new opportunities can become your competitive advantage, and why you don't have to wait until you're ready to leave your current job to start building something new. They also explore the freedom of fractional leadership, the importance of investing in your own professional development, and why retirement doesn't have to mean slowing down or stepping away from meaningful work. In this episode, you'll discover: Why it's never too late to reinvent your career and pursue a new chapter. How a nonlinear career path can become your competitive advantage. How to test a business idea or explore entrepreneurship while maintaining your current career. What fractional marketing leadership is and how it helps businesses access executive-level expertise without the overhead of a full-time hire. How to turn your professional experience, relationships, and skills into new opportunities. Why investing in your own growth matters, even when your employer doesn't.How to build a strong brand that aligns with business objectives and creates long-term brand value. Why you don't have to let age, titles, or society's expectations define your next chapter. How to build a business that supports your lifestyle, personal priorities, and long-term vision.Which inspiring women Tori admires for their leadership, creativity, resilience, and entrepreneurial spirit.A powerful reminder from Tori: You don't have to have your entire next chapter figured out before you begin. Sometimes, the next opportunity reveals itself when you're willing to say yes, explore something new, and trust the experience you've already built. Whether you're an entrepreneur, a seasoned professional considering a career change, or a woman ready to explore what's next, this conversation will encourage you to recognize the value you bring to the table and take the next step toward a career and life that feel aligned with who you're becoming. Your Body Is Changing. Your Wellness Playbook Should Too with Jayne Williams

What worked for your body five, ten, or twenty years ago may not work anymore—and that doesn’t mean you’re doing anything wrong. It may simply mean it’s time to change the playbook. In this episode of She Believed She Could, Allison sits down with certified holistic nutritionist, metabolic health expert, speaker, entrepreneur, and Elevated Wellness podcast host Jayne Williams for an honest conversation about women’s health, midlife, hormones, metabolism, stress, and what it really looks like to take back the driver’s seat of your wellbeing. Jayne shares her own journey from living with chronic pain, gut issues, stress, and an IBS diagnosis to discovering functional medicine and holistic nutrition—and ultimately building a career helping other women understand what their bodies are trying to tell them. Together, Allison and Jayne unpack why women are so quick to “power through,” how cortisol, blood sugar, sleep, strength training, nutrition, and hormones can shift in midlife, and why sustainable wellness is about far more than finding the perfect diet or quick fix. They also talk about GLP-1s, peptides, hormone health, longevity, and the small choices that can dramatically change how you feel and function. Because the goal isn’t simply to live longer. It’s to have the vitality, energy, and quality of life to fully live the years ahead. Plus, Jayne shares what she’s building through The Wellness Edit and her new Metabolic Method program—and the defining lesson she’s learned about confidence: sometimes believing you can begins with simply taking the first step. --- Join Us at Iconic Impact Ready to create your next incredible chapter? How to Believe in Yourself Again: From Addiction to Impact

Stephanie Bowman knows what it means to rebuild a life from the ground up. After experiencing sexual assault as a teenager, Stephanie spent 17 years in and out of addiction, eventually facing homelessness, domestic violence, and separation from her children. Her tenth attempt at treatment became the turning point that changed everything when someone offered her something she struggled to give herself: belief. Today, Stephanie is a motivational speaker, life coach, author, and founder of One Heart for Women and Children, a Central Florida nonprofit serving more than 20,000 people each month. In this deeply moving conversation, Stephanie and Allison talk about overcoming shame, addiction recovery, learning to believe in yourself again, finding the right community, building meaningful relationships, turning pain into purpose, and creating a ripple effect of impact. Stephanie also shares why asking for help is a strength, how she learned to advocate for herself, and the commitment that has guided her life since recovery: if she wakes up with breath, her job is to help another woman. This episode is a reminder that your hardest chapters don't have to be the end of your story. You Don’t Need Permission. You Need a Decision.

In the final episode of the ICON Series, Allison Walsh brings the entire journey together with one powerful question: What are you still waiting to be chosen for? Your next chapter doesn’t begin when someone gives you permission, hands you the opportunity, or finally recognizes that you’re ready. It begins when you decide to move. Allison shares how some of the biggest chapters of her own life—from launching a nonprofit and building businesses to starting a podcast, writing a book, and growing She Believed She Could—began before she had the perfect plan, platform, credentials, or invitation. In this episode, you’ll learn how to reverse the permission dynamic, create the first version before you can see the final one, make your ambitions visible, build reputation equity around your own ideas, and use consistency to turn potential into momentum. You’ll also discover why being willing to become a beginner again may be one of the most important skills for accomplished women entering a new season. If you’ve been researching, preparing, perfecting, or quietly waiting for someone else to recognize what you’re capable of, this episode is your invitation to stop waiting. You don’t need permission. You need a decision.   About the ICON Series ICON stands for Intention, Create, Own, Next—a series about intentionally creating your next incredible chapter. This episode is Part Two, focused on CREATE and the process of turning your experience, expertise, and lessons into something that creates value, impact, and opportunity. You’re Not Overlooked. You’re Underexposed: How to Close the Visibility Gap

What if the reason you're not getting the opportunities you know you're capable of isn't because you're being overlooked—but because you're underexposed? In Part 3 of the Icon Series, Allison Walsh breaks down the “visibility gap”: the space between what you're capable of and what other people actually know to call you for. For many high-achieving women, expertise isn't the problem. You've built the experience. You've created results. You've developed ideas worth sharing. But your message, visibility, and platform may not have caught up to the woman you've become. In this episode, Allison shares how to close the clarity, evidence, repetition, invitation, and identity gaps that can keep brilliant women from becoming known for their expertise. She also shares her own story of how years of visible contribution created an unexpected career opportunity—and why visibility isn't vanity when it gives meaningful work somewhere further to travel. You'll learn how to: • Decide what you want to be known for• Develop a clear point of view around your expertise• Build and communicate proof of your authority• Use repetition to build reputation equity• Create a platform strategy without being everywhere• Make clearer invitations for people to hire, refer, invite, or work with you• Stop confusing being new to visibility with being new to your expertise You don't need to become louder everywhere. You need to become clearer and more intentional in the right places. Because visibility without positioning creates attention. Visibility plus positioning creates opportunity.   About the ICON Series ICON stands for Intention, Create, Own, Next—a series about intentionally creating your next incredible chapter. This episode is Part Two, focused on CREATE and the process of turning your experience, expertise, and lessons into something that creates value, impact, and opportunity. What You Already Know Could Change What You Create Next

What if you don’t need another idea—you just need to look again at what you already know? In Part Two of the ICON Series, Allison Walsh dives into CREATE and explores how the experiences you’ve already lived can become the foundation for your next chapter, your personal brand, and the impact you want to make. Creation doesn’t always start with a blank page. Sometimes, it starts by looking back at what you’ve survived, solved, learned, built, and repeated. Allison shares her own story of how personal experience became advocacy, relationships, career opportunities, and eventually a larger body of work. She also explores “expertise blindness”—the tendency to overlook what you know because it feels so natural to you—and explains why the things you make look easy may actually be valuable expertise to someone else. You’ll learn how to identify the turning points that shaped you, recognize the problems you solve naturally, articulate the convictions that guide your work, and turn your lessons into frameworks that can become content, workshops, offers, talks, books, or other opportunities. Allison also shares the importance of sharing personal stories from a place of wisdom rather than an open wound—and how to make your experience useful without feeling like you have to put your entire life online. At the heart of this episode is a simple idea: your experience has value when you extract the wisdom, articulate the lesson, and use it in service of someone else. You may not need to create something completely new. You may need to recognize the value that has been there all along—and give it somewhere to travel. In This Episode, Allison Explores: Why your next opportunity may already be hidden inside your experienceWhat “expertise blindness” is and why accomplished women often undervalue what they knowHow to identify the lessons hidden inside your biggest turning pointsWhy the event is the story, but the lesson is the intellectual propertyHow the problems you solve repeatedly can reveal your unique expertiseWhy what feels easy or ordinary to you may be extraordinary to someone elseHow to turn your experience into thought leadershipWhy your convictions are an important part of building a recognizable voiceHow to turn what you know into a framework, methodology, workshop, keynote, book, or offerWhy your expertise needs somewhere to travelHow sharing your ideas can create opportunities you never could have plannedWhy you don't owe the internet your pain or your entire storyHow to know whether you're sharing from wisdom or from an open woundWhy your story becomes powerful when you can turn its meaning into something useful for someone else   The Experience InventoryIf you're wondering what you could create from everything you've already lived and learned, Allison challenges you to look for the thread. TURNING POINT — What experience changed the direction of your life or career?WHAT YOU LEARNED — What did you have to figure out, develop, or understand because of it?WHO IT COULD HELP — Who could benefit from what you now know?MAKE IT USEFUL — How could you turn that lesson into a post, framework, conversation, workshop, offer, or resource? You don't need to build the entire business in one sitting. Start by looking for the thread—the idea, problem, or transformation that keeps showing up across different chapters of your life.   Your Challenge This WeekCreate your own Experience Inventory. Think about the moments that changed you, challenged you, stretched you, or taught you something you now know how to do differently. Then ask yourself: What did I learn?Who could this lesson help? How could I make it useful? You may not need another idea. You may need to look again at the life you've already lived.   About the ICON SeriesICON stands for Intention, Create, Own, Next—a series about intentionally creating your next incredible chapter. You’re Not Starting Over: How to Know When It’s Time to Reinvent Your Life & Career

What if the life you worked so hard to build no longer feels aligned with who you’re becoming? In Part One of the ICON Series, Allison Walsh explores the powerful process of reinvention and what it means to intentionally create your next chapter. From career changes and entrepreneurship to identity, personal growth, and finding greater alignment, Allison shares the lessons she has learned through her own seasons of reinvention—and why starting again does not mean starting from scratch. You may have the career, business, title, recognition, or stability you once dreamed about, yet still feel like something is missing. If you’ve been asking yourself, “Is this still right for me?”, this episode will help you recognize the difference between simply being successful and being truly aligned with the life you’re building. In This Episode, Allison Explores: The 4 signs that you may be ready for reinventionWhy success can stop feeling like alignmentHow gratitude and growth can exist at the same timeWhy your identity can become limiting when it is tied too closely to a title or roleThe difference between being capable of something and being called to continue doing itWhy working harder isn't always the answer when something no longer fitsHow to recognize whether a difficult season is developing you or depleting youWhat to do when your future requires more space than your current life can holdHow to conduct an intentional reinvention auditWhat you should honor, release, carry forward, and practice nowWhy you don't have to burn down your current life to begin creating your next chapterHow to start building your next career, business, or opportunity before you're ready to make the leapThe Reinvention Audit If you're in a season of change, Allison challenges you to evaluate four things: HONOR — What has this chapter given you?RELEASE — What no longer fits?CARRY FORWARD — What experience, skills, relationships, reputation, and strengths are you taking with you?PRACTICE NOW — What decision can you make today that reflects the woman you're becoming? You don't need to map out the next five years. You simply need to get honest about your next right move. Your Challenge This Week Take a few minutes to complete your own reinvention audit. Write down four headings: Honor. Release. Carry Forward. Practice Now. You don't need to figure out your entire future. Start by telling yourself the truth about what no longer fits and identifying one decision that moves you toward your next chapter. Because reinvention isn't about becoming someone entirely different. It's about becoming a more complete expression of who you've been becoming all along.   About the ICON Series ICON stands for Intention, Create, Own, Next—a series about intentionally creating your next incredible chapter. From Oncologist to Patient: Dr. Hwang on Breast Cancer, Survivorship & Finding a New Way Forward

What happens when the woman who has spent years treating breast cancer suddenly finds herself sitting on the other side of the diagnosis? In this deeply personal episode of The She Believed She Could™ Podcast, Allison Walsh sits down with Dr. Catherine “Sue” Hwang, a board-certified radiation oncologist specializing in breast cancer, who knows the cancer journey from both sides—as a physician and as a patient. After more than 15 years of caring for women with breast cancer, Dr. Hwang never expected to become a breast cancer patient herself. A routine mammogram revealed calcifications, followed by the discovery of multiple masses and an abnormal lymph node. Suddenly, the physician who understood the treatments, side effects, complications, and statistics was forced to experience the fear and uncertainty of being the patient herself. Dr. Hwang shares what she learned about the patient experience, breast cancer treatment, motherhood, vulnerability, hyper-independence, and accepting support. She talks honestly about how her community rallied around her, from bringing meals to helping with her children, and how the experience completely changed the way she thinks about community and caring for others. But one of the most important lessons came after treatment. Dr. Hwang explains why the end of chemotherapy, surgery, or radiation doesn't necessarily mean the end of the cancer journey. For many women, survivorship can bring an unexpected emotional and physical transition—a period where treatment ends, medical appointments become less frequent, everyone assumes you're okay, and you're left wondering, “What now?” That realization inspired Dr. Hwang to advocate for better breast cancer survivorship care and to help patients understand that struggling after treatment is not a failure. It's part of the journey. She also shares practical advice about mammograms, breast exams, knowing your body, recognizing potential breast cancer symptoms, and becoming your own healthcare advocate. Her message is especially powerful for women who have ever been told they're “too young” to worry about breast cancer or who feel uncomfortable pushing for additional answers. Dr. Hwang's story ultimately comes back to one powerful idea: you don't have to know how you're going to get through the entire journey. Sometimes, you simply have to take the next step. And then the next one. And eventually, you may look back and realize just how much you were capable of all along.
