Tooth & Claw: True Stories of Animal Attacks

I listen to this podcast with my kids (yrs 9 & 11) and they LOVE it (as do I). Thank you all for putting a funny, informative, educational and entertaining podcast together

I loved Tooth and Claw when it first started back in 2020, it was one of the podcasts I really got into and loved during the Covid lockdowns. However, increasingly the episodes are really unfocused, with 50+% of the time not actually about the animal encounter anymore, with “categories” sections that are just unrelated chatter. I preferred when an episode focused on the encounter, explanation behind what happened, and then facts about the species involved. Bring back 2020 Tooth and Claw!

My only gripe is that there aren’t enough episodes. Almost half seem to be hidden behind the pay wall. I’m sorry I can’t afford to pay for the subscription, but I have to confess I’m envious when I see an interesting subscriber episode and know I’m not getting anything for another week. I just wish we could have one episode a week, maybe with a week off for subscriber episodes, or if subscriber episodes were uploaded along side the regular feed, and not a replacement. I don’t want you guys to over work yourselves, I just wish there was a better balance between regular and subscriber episodes. It feels very 50/50 where a lot of podcasts put like 60/40 into the main show feed. Maybe just a regular upload scheduled would help. I think I get sad cause I don’t know when I’m getting an episode. I wouldn’t mind an episode every two week if I knew exactly when it would be uploaded. Still 5 stars because I love the show, it’s the highlight of my week when I see a new episode. You guys are great at what you do!
