Girl Out of Order Podcast

Christine Gale

Girl Out of Order is not just a podcast—it’s a call to action for the woman who's done shrinking, contorting, and apologizing for who she is. Hosted by Christine Gale, attorney, speaker, identity coach, and unapologetic girl-mom, this show is your go-to space for fierce conversations, gut-level honesty, and radical permission to reclaim the woman you were always meant to be. Girl Out of Order challenges the belief that women must play small to belong. No topic off-limits and no mask required. Through solo episodes, powerhouse guest interviews, and Christine’s signature blend of humor, truth-telling, and challenge, you’ll be inspired to drop your sword, stop the self-abandonment, and rise in your worth. Because fitting in is overrated—and being out of order might be exactly what sets you free. If you’ve ever felt like too much and never enough at the same time, pull up a seat. This is your home.

Ep. #140 - Fighting for Your Voice When You're Losing It

"Even when your voice shakes, sis, speak up!" My voice started changing in December. I kept brushed it off: a cold, aging, poor sleep. After a friend pointed it out, I started to pay attention. A visit to my doctor for hormonal support turned into a throat exam, then a thyroid ultrasound that flagged "mildly suspicious" nodules — later downgraded to "boring" by a specialist. That scare pushed me to an ENT, where a scope revealed the real issue: vocal cord nodules.  The fix isn't surgery. It's speech therapy — learning to slow down, breathe with intention, and speak differently, a real challenge for someone who moves through life fast by default. Well, I'm now in the middle of treatment, which is why the podcast went quiet and why this episode is a solo return before a run of previously recorded guest interviews. Here's what I want you to know... The literal voice mirrors the authentic voice. Silencing starts external, then becomes internal. We become our own censor. This matters for the next generation. Speak up even when your voice shakes, advocate for yourself, and refuse to outsource your own knowing to someone else's confidence.Join the Girl Out of Order Facebook Tribe! https://www.facebook.com/groups/girloutoforder Let's Connect! https://www.thechristinegale.com/ https://www.linkedin.com/in/christine-d-gale-esq-0b899b204/ https://www.facebook.com/christine.salsberrygale/ https://www.instagram.com/thechristinegale/

Ep. #139 - Building a Couple Identity- Love, Faith & the Power of Polarity with John & Annie Meng

"If you don't have any storms in your relationship, find some. Because if we did not have the obstacles we had, we would not have this relationship."                         John and Annie Meng What does it look like to build an identity as a couple — not just as two individuals sharing a life? In this rich, raw, and deeply personal conversation, Christine sits down with John and Annie Meng, founders of Love Jaam, to explore what it truly takes to create a shared identity in a relationship — and why the hardest seasons are often the ones that make you. Annie — Wharton graduate, former Miss Arizona, Wall Street finance veteran, and expecting mama — opens up about what it meant to be disowned by her family for choosing love. Death threats. Wedding day absences. And ultimately, the slow, intentional work of reconciliation that changed her from the inside out. John, a serial entrepreneur, business exit advisor, and relationship coach, shares how watching the woman he loved walk toward a potentially dangerous confrontation with her father — while he sat quietly in the car — became one of the most spiritually defining moments of his life. Together, they unpack: ✦ Why opposites don't just attract — they complete ✦ How to use the DISC profile to understand your couple dynamic ✦ What Tony Robbins' four seasons of relationship reveal about where you are right now ✦ The moment John realized love — not ego — had to lead ✦ Why Annie's estrangement from her family became the catalyst for her greatest personal growth ✦ The "Three C's" of lasting love: Chemistry, Commitment, and Compassion ✦ How to create a couples vision — the one exercise Christine is writing down mid-conversation This episode is for the woman who wants a great relationship but sometimes wonders if what she sees in other couples is even attainable. Spoiler: it is. And behind every great couple is usually a powerful, hard-won story. Ep. #136 - Just Drive Up the Driveway - Finding Unexpected Healing in the Places You've Been Avoiding

“Healing does not mean erasing what happened. Sometimes healing means becoming anchored enough in who you are that you can look back and finally see the whole story.” Have you been proverbially driving around the hard places in your life instead of through them? Last week, I got to return to the farm where I grew up, a place full of both beauty and pain. And I was unprepared for what happened when I finally drove up the driveway. What I found wasn't the weight of trauma I had expected. Instead, I discovered something I hadn't anticipated: sweet healing. This episode is about so much more — selective memory, the necessity and the danger — of locking away painful chapters, and what it truly means to be a fully integrated, embodied woman. Through an unexpected encounter with the family now living on my childhood farm, I was beautifully reminded that the magic is often laced within the hard memories, not in spite of them. In this episode, you'll explore: Why we selectively remember and what it costs usHow staying disembodied from painful experiences dims your entire beingThe power of borrowing someone else's courage to face what you've been avoidingWhy you can't be grateful and bitter — or grateful and traumatized — at the same timeWhat it means to embody all of your identity, not just the easy partsWhether it's a childhood home, a past marriage, a failed business partnership, or a parenting moment you're not proud of — this episode is your invitation to tiptoe back in, take another look, and reclaim the parts of yourself you thought were better left locked away. You are a fully integrated woman. It's time to light up every room.
