I get it lads. You think, ‘ Hey! We love sci-fi and fantasy shows. Let’s review as many of them as possible, submit each under a new show independently under the overall banner of our Bald Move channel, and that way, we generate as much revenue as possible. It’s a clever yet simple concept. And it should work. But it doesn’t. Because you’re so busy making as many review podcasts as you can, that you’re not paying attention to the content that you’re supposedly reviewing. And as a consequence, you get lazy takes on a multitude of shows, that you get so much, so wrong, that I find it personally astonishing. And, actually, quite frankly exhausting. Add to the fact that ‘A Ron’ *eye roll* is capable of such legendary mispronunciation on such a frantic and dramatic scale, talks over everyone and yet exudes a sense that he personally knows he’s so right about everything, is legitimately fascinating due to behold. It has a strong flavour of text book narcissism. And the other guy is an equally strong candidate for demonstration of what happens when arrogance meets ignorance. And finally, in reference to another remark made on another of their shows; when someone so proudly claims that Star Trek: Discovery is “Not my Star Trek”—and yet cannot make any case that can stand up to scrutiny to validate that claim—you know without a shadow of a doubt that that is code for, I am a homophobic, sexist and racist, even if I’m only latently aware of it. People aren’t as stupid as you think.
