  1. Hyrox : We Did the Research. We’re Still Not Doing It.

Hyrox : We Did the Research. We’re Still Not Doing It.

HYROX is all over the fitness internet right now and we finally went full nerd on it — what it actually is, what each of the eight stations involves, what the weights and distances look like in practice, and who this thing is genuinely built for. Spoiler: the burpee broad jumps got an immediate hard no. The ski erg wasn’t far behind. We also got into something a lot of people think about but don’t always say out loud: how much of what you consume online is actually your choice? Between Sara’s News Feed Eradicator setup and Caleigh’s full unfollow-everyone approach, the conversation turned into a real one about what it means to actually curate your experience on social media — and why you don’t owe anyone your attention just because they post. And then somehow: workout playlists, music licensing laws for gyms and fitness classes (genuinely wild), a guy who free-climbed a 101-story skyscraper without ropes live on Netflix, and a check-in on whether the NFC photo shoot is still happening. It is. Probably. 12–16 weeks minimum. Connect with us on social media! Caleigh CPT? : What If I’m Not Meant to Be a Trainer?

This week on Nacho Fitness Coach, we did something slightly chaotic—we asked ChatGPT to explain why Caleigh wouldn’t be a good personal trainer… and then read it out loud. Turns out, it had some very specific opinions. We go through each point and unpack what being a trainer actually involves, from patience and repetition to handling clients who don’t always follow through. Along the way, we talk about burnout, personality fit, and whether loving fitness automatically means you should coach other people. By the end, we shift the conversation from “should Caleigh be a trainer?” to “what kind of coach would actually make sense?”—because maybe the answer isn’t no… it’s just not the version everyone expects. Canceled : Can We Go Back to Fitness Please?

This week on Nacho Fitness Coach, Caleigh and Sara spiral into a story about a fitness influencer who got himself very publicly “canceled”… and what we thought was going to be a quick tangent turns into a full-blown discussion about social media, influence, and human behavior. We talk about what happens when people gain a following and start to believe their own hype, why reacting emotionally online almost never ends well, and how easy it is to forget there are real humans behind the comments. We also share some of our own experiences with viral content (and accidental internet attention), and how weird it feels when something small suddenly reaches a lot of people. As usual, we go off on a few tangents—parenting, identity, and the realization that nobody really has it all figured out. If you’ve ever followed someone online and later questioned it… or wondered how much of social media is actually real… this one’s for you. Connect with us on social media! 4. Function Health: Are You Actually in Control of Your Health?

Function Health: Are You Actually in Control of Your Health?

This week, Caleigh and Sara somehow go from roasting each other and comparing wildly different daily step counts to talking about monkey bars, grip strength, stairs, and the movements adults probably shouldn’t stop doing just because they feel harder now. We get into how everyday movement adds up, why basic physical capability matters more than people think, and how avoiding certain movements might be exactly why they get harder over time. Then we shift into a conversation about blood work, supplements, and taking ownership of your health with actual data instead of vibes. We talk about Function Health, what it means to be “in range” versus optimal, and why getting a better look at things like iron, vitamin levels, hormones, and other markers can help you make smarter choices. If you’ve ever wondered whether you should stop guessing and actually look under the hood, this one’s for you. Connect with us on social media! 5. Be Objective: Are Your Daily Habits the Real Problem?

Be Objective: Are Your Daily Habits the Real Problem?

In this episode, Caleigh and Sara talk about what to do when you don’t feel great but also can’t figure out why. We get into how easy it is to convince ourselves we’re doing “fine” while ignoring the obvious stuff that might actually be making us feel bloated, tired, foggy, run-down, or just off. Before jumping to extremes, we talk about looking at the basics first: eating enough, eating regularly, getting enough protein, sleeping more, drinking water, and paying attention to stress. We also go off on several very important tangents, including nails, shot put, carbs, fasting, dirty fasting, ADHD, social media, and school throwbacks from the early 2000s. So basically, it’s a normal episode. Under all the chaos, the big takeaway is simple: if you don’t feel good, take an honest look at your actual lifestyle before blaming something random or chasing complicated fixes. 6. School: Why Aren’t Doctors Taught Nutrition and Exercise?

School: Why Aren’t Doctors Taught Nutrition and Exercise?

This week on Nacho Fitness Coach, we went down a rabbit hole after hearing a clip about something most people don’t realize: many doctors receive little to no formal education on exercise or nutrition in medical school. That doesn’t mean doctors aren’t incredibly knowledgeable or valuable, but it does raise a big question about where people should actually look for guidance on lifestyle habits that impact long-term health. We talk about how the healthcare system is largely designed to treat illness rather than prevent it, and why things like sleep, movement, hydration, and food often get overlooked until problems show up. Along the way we share personal experiences with anxiety, ER visits, parenting, and how small lifestyle changes can make a much bigger impact than people expect. It’s a mix of fitness talk, healthcare reality checks, and a reminder that sometimes the most powerful health strategies are the ones that seem almost too simple. Connect with us on social media! 30g of Protein: Science...or More BS?

Season 8 is here, and apparently Caleigh and Sara are still incapable of acting normal for even five minutes. In this episode, we kick things off with some wildly unserious chaos, a life update from Caleigh about putting her kids in public school, and a very real conversation about how routine changes can throw everything off, including workouts, meals, and general sanity. Then we get into the actual myth-busting: can your body only process 30 grams of protein at a time? We break down where that idea came from, why people keep repeating it, and why it doesn’t hold up when you look at real-life nutrition needs. We also talk protein shakes, recovery, misleading “high-protein” food marketing, edamame pasta, protein bars, and why extreme nutrition rules should always make you pause and ask a few more questions. If you’ve ever wondered whether your protein is “going to waste” or gotten confused by nutrition advice that sounds way too absolute, this one’s for you. Connect with us on social media!
