As someone who’s recently got back into the hobby, and someone who consumes a lot of podcast due to driving for work, this podcast perfectly scratched the itch I had to keep on “hobbying” even when I was away from the paint and clippers. I’ve often returned home to try out things I’ve learned, from proper brush care to using Tamiya extra thin to clean out those pesky gun barrels.
The guys have amazing chemistry, genuine passion and tonnes and tonnes of knowledge and experience to share. I’ve been making my way through all the previous shows to learn as much as I can, whilst also discovering the history of Siege studios and the origins of many references, such as the great basing debate (black is correct sorry George), the DeWalt sniper and the Blood Angels Dark Angels feud.
Add to all that some excellent guest appearances from outside Siege, and of course Paul and his “mental with colour” doctrine, and you’ve got just about all you could ask for in a hobby show.
