Show notes  Rosie finished her Dawn Jeans by Megan Neilsen both straight size and curve edition.  Rosie mentioned her Mabel blouse by Tilly and the Buttons.  Mary’s making the Know Me Bomber.  Mary mentioned the Tulip Top by Fortiv corset and shouted out the maker @pazmadeit.  Sally’s making the Cynthia Blouse by Viki Sews.   Sally made her PJ bottoms using the trousers from the Ruffle Brunch set by Matchy Matchy sewing club.   Sally Stashed Chimp Crazy on HBO.  Mary trashed postage stamps.

    EP9 - JEANS

    This week Sally’s weak at the knees for her new porthole jeans. Rosie’s delighted by her sunny angels and Mary’s getting ribbed in her hunt for the perfect stretch fabric.  Plus a quick fire denim correspondence special and a game of stash or trash.  Show notes  Rosie went to the National Wool Museum Rosie’s been playing the board game Patchwork.  SALLYS 3D KNEES - IN fab godmother stretch denim  Sally has finished her Drea Trench Coat by Fibre Mood.    Rosie mentioned the Dawn Jeans by Megan Neilsen both straight size and curve edition.   Sally mentioned the Betty Trousers by Fibre Mood - but watch out for cropped hems!  Mary shouted out her fav denim from Sew Me Sunshine - “Denim 11oz Non Stretch - Reversible Light Blue” Mary mentioned using this tutorial to draft yourself a curved waistband. Mary mentioned the Coe Trousers by Daughter Judy.  Rosie mentioned sashiko embroidery technique.     EP8 - Chat

    This week the sisters are getting back to basics with a much needed catch up. Sally’s cutting it fine with some DIY seam allowance. Mary’s bouncing back from a confusing stretch project and Rosie’s buckling down with her new dungarees.  Show notes  Rosie talked about making some jeans. She mentioned the Heroine Jeans by Merchant and Mills and the Worship Jeans by Daughter Judy. Sally recommended the Adams Pants by Daughter Judy (but check the length before you cut as they run cropped!)  Goofy and Rosie have been making the Harlene Dungarees by Merchant and Mills. Goofy used these adaptations.   Sally is making the Drea Trench Coat by Fibre Mood.   Rosie mentioned Harlequin UK, who make belts, bags and buckles with your fabric. Mary finished her Cameron Skirt by Viki Sews and is getting started on the Kim Cardigan by Viki Sews. Rosie trashed having to change between topstitch and regular thread. Mary stashed watching cleaning videos on YouTube.

    This week the sisters are stuffing the makes and mistakes of 2024 into a new year's time capsule. Rosie’s got resolutions about sewing for others. Mary’s lost in the music with her Spotify wrapped and Sally’s getting flashbacks to an award winning make.     This week the sisters are getting festive. Sally’s spellbound by some seasonal beadwork, Rosie needs a Christmas miracle to finish her festive makes and Mary’s taking it day by day with her handmade advent calendar. Rosie is making these snow men  Mary made the Draw Blouse from Puff and Pencil. Rosie mentioned bead kits from Spellbound Beads.  Rsie crocheted these baubles by Annie Design Crochet.   Rosie’s got Upcycle by Annie Phillips on her wishlist.  Rosie stashed hot water bottles.  Sally trashed luxury advent calendars.

    This week the sisters are airing their dirty laundry in public with a confessions special. Rosie’s squeezing into a disastrous jumpsuit. Mary’s wishing she was legless after an over-cutting incident and Sally’s rounding up her cow print projects. Plus a question from the pintray about sewing set-ups and a game of stash or trash.     This week it is back basics with a block special. Rosie’s all-aglow with new crochet gadgets. Sally’s cut up about her puffer jacket project and Mary’s getting a grip with a much needed sort out.
