It’s learning how to listen, understand, and respond without attacking. Healthy communication creates a safe place where both spouses can say: “This is how I feel.”“This is what I need.”“Help me understand you.”“I may not agree, but I want to hear you.”You cannot build oneness if you cannot communicate. ❤️ RESPECT — “I Value You” Respect means recognizing that your spouse is a person with feelings, thoughts, opinions, and needs that matter. Respect protects the person while addressing the problem. 🤝 TRUST — “I Feel Safe With You” Trust is built through consistency. Trust isn't simply saying, “Believe me.” Trust is living in a way that gives your spouse a reason to believe you. Trust takes time to build, but only moments to damage. 🎯 ACCOUNTABILITY — “I Own My Part” Marriage isn't about keeping score or proving who is right. Accountability means being willing to say: “I was wrong.” “I hurt you.” “I need to do better.” “Here's what I'm going to change.” A healthy marriage requires two people who are willing to look in the mirror—not just point the finger. 💍 THE MARRIAGEONESS CONNECTION Communication tells us what's happening.
