Pat Welsh

Warrior Servant Leader Podcast Welcome to the Warrior Servant Leader Podcast, hosted by Pat Welsh, a man whose extraordinary life has shaped his mission to help others lead with courage, service, and purpose. It begins with resilience, faith, and service to others. Every week, Pat delivers: TACO Tuesday (Take Action Crush Obstacles) where you will get real talk and practical tools to break through life’s toughest challenges. Wednesday Wisdom where Pat unpacks leadership insights gained from decades in the trenches and on the frontlines. Tough Love Thursday where Pat delivers honest conversations about the mindset and heart-set needed to lead with honor and faith. Wednesday Wisom: EP 2 Spiritual Endurance with Dr. Ken Kaufman

Wednesday Wisdom! What happens when you pray with everything you have - and the healing does not come?   What happens when heaven feels silent, God seems absent, the loss becomes permanent, and the thought you are afraid to say out loud begins to form: God, have You abandoned me? Series Reconnection PAT: Welcome to The Warrior Servant Leader Podcast. I am Pat Welsh, and this is Spiritual Endurance, our multi- week conversation with Dr. Ken Kaufman based on his book Spiritual Endurance Faith Forged in the Fire. PAT: In Episode One, we talked about faith being tested in the fire. We learned that faith does not eliminate struggle; it brings struggle into conversation with God.   Chapter Two takes us deeper. It asks what happens when that conversation seems one-sided - when we pray, wait, hope, and still do not receive the answer we desperately wanted. PAT Ken calls the conclusion that can grow in that silence a dangerous lie: the belief that God has abandoned us. Today we are not going to offer a formula or pretend every painful question has a tidy answer. We are going to talk honestly about grief, apparent silence, the character of God, and the decision to stay when understanding has not come.   Connect with Ken here: https://www.spiritualendurance.com/ Be sure to download, Like and Share this, and all our podcasts with someone you know who needs to hear the Warrior Servant Leader Mindset message. https://www.thewarriorservantleaderpodcast.com Connect with Pat here: https://www.linkedin.com/in/pat-welsh-jd-82b79490/ Want to chat with Pat about his Speaking, Coaching and Training services? Lions, Tigers and Bears, OH MY! with Host Pat Welsh

TACO Tuesday Meets Tough Love Thursday! Lions and Tigers and Bears, Oh My! How Modern-Day Politicians Are “Killing Off” Their Own Step into the political jungle and you’ll hear it before you see it: the roar of the lions, the growl of the tigers, the snarl of the bears. They’re all prowling for power—and lately, they’ve been turning on their own. It’s a fascinating thing about nature: some of the fiercest creatures on earth are also known for attacking members of their own species. Lions kill rival cubs to establish dominance. Tigers, solitary by design, sometimes hunt other tigers when their territories overlap. Even bears—those lumbering symbols of power and protection—will occasionally eat their young during lean seasons. Brutal, yes. But understandable in the animal kingdom. Nature plays by rules written in survival, instinct and scarcity. What’s less understandable is when humans—supposedly evolved, supposedly enlightened—do the same thing in politics. This isn't an episode above saving political parties - it's about saving our society. BUCKLE UP! Tough Love Thursday: Wayward Purpose, Finding Togetherness with Will Paulson

What do you do when you have lost your way, afraid of what bad thing is going to happen next or have just completely gassed out? Today’s guest is Will Paulson—a husband, father, U.S. service member, ICF ACC-certified wayfinding coach, and founder of Wayward Purpose. Will works with people who have reached a point where they simply don’t know anymore—people who may be incredibly capable and responsible, but no longer trust themselves to navigate what comes next. Through nearly twenty years of military service and now his work in coaching, writing, and leadership, Will explores what happens when we lose our sense of choice, trust, and connection—and how we begin to find our way again. His larger mission is simple: Restore Togetherness. Today, we’ll talk about wayfinding, self-trust, moral injury, leadership, and what happens when the old maps we’ve relied on no longer work. Please welcome Will Paulson. Learn more and connect with Will: https://www.waywardpurpose.com/subscribe Subscribe to the Wayward Purpose newsletter for ongoing Waymarkers -questions, reflections, and practices that invite people to notice where they’ve drifted, reconnect with what matters, and do their own work toward restoring togetherness. They can also follow along as Wayward Purpose continues to take shape. This work isn’t about reaching everyone; if one Waymarker helps one person find their way, that is enough. T.A.C.O. Tuesday with Keith Barton

What do you do when you are on the receiving end of judicial injustice that involves your 9 year old special needs daughter? You Stand Up, Show Up and Defend What you believe - and Take Action and Crush Obstacles. And it helps that you are veteran of 20 years in the United States Marine Corps, armed with a degree in Psychology. Today's guest, Keith Barton, is that 20-year Marine Corps veteran, former military aviator, author, congressional candidate, and advocate for family-court reform. His experiences span military leadership, government efficiency, public policy, veterans issues, family law, and writing everything from children’s books to military and science-fiction thrillers. After taking his own custody case through a successful Florida appellate court challenge, Keith has turned those experiences into a broader effort to reform systems he believes can work better for American families. His approach is simple: strong families, logical solutions. In short, Keith put on the Warrior, Servant, Leader armor and stepped into the arena most fathers would find daunting, if not downright impossible to win in. Join us for a spirited and compelling conversation on what it looks like to do the right thing, at the right time, the right way and for the rights reasons - being, not just talking about, a Warrior, Servant, Leader when it matters. The Bridge From Science to God with Richard Krauland

Wednesday Wisdom! Richard J. Krauland brings an unusual combination of mathematics, business leadership, philosophy, personal adversity, and more than three decades of lived Christian faith to conversations about science, God, and the search for truth. For the first forty-one years of his life, Richard describes himself as spiritually uncertain and, for a time, an atheist. His perspective changed in 1994, beginning a journey that would reshape how he approached success, fear, illness, loss, and everyday life. He went on to become the president and CEO of a billion-dollar-plus company while living with lifelong health challenges and having once survived temporary paralysis. Today, as the author of The Bridge From Science to God, Richard invites audiences to examine a provocative question: What if modern scientific discovery has brought us closer to God than we realize? We are going to jump in and have a great conversation on what belief actually requires of us in daily life and closely look at what you believe, why you believe it, and whether those beliefs are helping you live with greater purpose, courage, and love.  https://www.thebridgefromsciencetogod.com Listeners can visit Richard’s official website to learn more about The Bridge From Science to God, explore his journey from atheism to faith, and find links to purchase the book and continue exploring his ideas on science, faith, and the search for truth.
