Why You Can’t Hate Yourself Healthy | Self-Love, Fitness & Healing with Pam Sherman

What if better health begins with changing the way you speak to yourself? In this episode of FIND YOUR FLOW, Lisa Roche sits down with health and wellness coach, personal trainer, and group exercise instructor Pam Sherman for an honest conversation about self-love, sustainable weight loss, nutrition, movement, trauma, grief, and learning to care for your body without punishment. After nearly three decades in the health and fitness industry, Pam has learned that lasting wellness rarely comes from extreme diets, exhausting workouts, or criticizing yourself into changing. It grows through small, consistent choices that support the body you have today and the person you want to become. Pam shares how the death of her brother forced her to confront unresolved childhood trauma, emotional pain, and the ways she had used constant movement to avoid what she was feeling. Her healing journey helped her move from a state of constant doing into a more peaceful relationship with silence, movement, food, and herself. Together, Lisa and Pam explore: • Why you cannot hate yourself into better health• How grief and unresolved trauma can influence daily habits• The difference between moving for enjoyment and exercising as punishment• Why small lifestyle changes are more sustainable than extreme diets• The importance of protein for women, especially during midlife and menopause• How fiber, colorful foods, hydration, sleep, and daily movement support wellness• Why women may need to eat more rather than continually restrict food• How stress can affect weight loss and overall well-being• Simple ways to add more protein and fiber to everyday meals• Building strength and mobility for your future 80-year-old self• How to speak to yourself with greater compassion and kindness Pam also shares practical nutrition tips for creating more balanced meals, increasing protein without overcomplicating your routine, and supporting long-term health through realistic habits you can continue for life. This conversation is for anyone who has tried to change through restriction, shame, overexercising, or self-criticism and is ready to approach health from a place of respect. Your health is your greatest wealth. You deserve to eat, move, rest, and live as though you truly love yourself. Subscribe to FIND YOUR FLOW with Lisa Roche for more conversations about women’s health, self-love, nutrition, fitness, menopause, nervous system regulation, emotional healing, and sustainable wellness.

Burnout, ADHD & Chronic Illness: Why Your Body Is Not Broken | Dr. Jess Armine

What if anxiety, burnout, chronic fatigue, ADHD, chronic illness, and even depression aren’t signs that you’re broken—but messages from a body trying to get your attention? In this powerful conversation, Lisa sits down with functional medicine practitioner Dr. Jess Armine, whose nearly 50 years of clinical experience have helped thousands of people uncover the biological root causes behind symptoms often dismissed as psychological or simply “part of getting older.” Together, they explore: Why burnout is more than a mindset issue—and what it actually does to the body The connection between chronic stress, inflammation, hormones, and nervous system dysregulation Why anxiety and depression can be signals rather than diagnoses The hidden relationship between gut health and mental health Neurodiversity, ADHD, and why some children are simply wired differently—not deficient How living according to other people’s expectations disconnects us from ourselves Lisa’s remarkable recovery from a debilitating neurological condition after being told there was no hope for improvement Why curiosity may be one of the most powerful healing tools we have The simple but life-changing truth: You are not broken. This conversation is an invitation to question what you’ve been told about your symptoms, your limitations, and your future. Whether you’re navigating burnout, chronic illness, neurodiversity, or simply feeling disconnected from yourself, Dr. Jess offers a perspective grounded in hope, physiology, and the possibility that healing may still be available. Because sometimes the most important shift isn’t finding the answer. It’s deciding that your story isn’t over yet. About Dr. Jess Armine Dr. Jess Armine, DC, RN, is a functional medicine practitioner with nearly 50 years of clinical experience helping people navigate complex chronic illness, burnout, neurodiversity, chronic fatigue, Long COVID, anxiety, and nervous system dysregulation. Drawing from systems biology, functional medicine, mitochondrial research, genetics, and neuro-endo-immune science, Dr. Jess specializes in translating complex health concepts into practical, compassionate insights people can actually understand and apply. What Does It Mean to Be Clairsentient? A Medium Explains Spirit Communication | Becs Sawyer

What does it mean to be clairsentient? Can someone truly feel the presence of spirit, and what is it like to work as a professional medium? In this episode of FIND YOUR FLOW, Lisa Roche is joined by Becs Sawyer, one of London's most respected professional mediums, for a thoughtful conversation about clairsentience, mediumship, intuition, and the healing that can come from connecting with loved ones who have passed. Rather than focusing on spectacle or mystery, this conversation explores mediumship as a deeply compassionate practice that offers comfort, understanding, and a renewed sense of connection. Together, Lisa and Becs discuss: • What it means to be clairsentient • How spirit communication works from a medium's perspective • The difference between intuition and mediumship • What happens during a mediumship reading • How messages from loved ones can support healing and grief • Developing sensitivity through meditation and self-awareness • Trusting your intuition and your own inner guidance Whether you're curious about mediumship, exploring your own intuitive abilities, or wondering what it's really like to receive a message from someone who has passed, this conversation offers a grounded and respectful perspective on one of the most misunderstood forms of spiritual work. Subscribe to FIND YOUR FLOW with Lisa Roche for conversations about nervous system regulation, emotional healing, intuition, Reiki, Feng Shui, holistic wellness, and creating a life that feels more aligned, supported, and true. About REBECCA SAWYER Mediumship is something I was always called to and being a medium is living and fulfilling my life’s purpose. As a young child, all I ever wanted to do was chat to Spirit, but to be honest the desire to be a mermaid was so much stronger! In my teens I would watch the famous mediums of the day and just dream of doing what they were doing, but I never got anything or anywhere with it, no matter how much I wanted it. I can remember getting so frustrated as I would watch them on TV. Never for a moment did I ever think that some of them would one day become friends and I would actually get to work and tour with them. It wasn’t until I went through my own physical and emotion transitions that my own mediumship truly started to unfold. That old saying of “When the student is ready the teacher will appear”, could have been written for me. I have been blessed with amazing guidance, support and love on my journey into becoming a medium and I have been tutored by the most incredible teachers. I would like to think I have also developed my own special and unique relationship with Spirit. I am so grateful to take my work out into the world, meeting wonderful people from all walks of life as I share that love and life is eternal. One of the things I always share is that I am not a Clairvoyant medium – that is I do not see Spirit (Clair meaning clear and voyant meaning seeing). I work by being Clairsentient which means I literally feel them, sense them and then get to know them. From there I can narrate their story and help facilitate that special re-union.
