I think the actor’s voice great. Naturally the story is. Sure - as a Brit I’d first looked for a “true” English narrative but the depth, tone and character interchange of this mature vAmerican English voice was very soothing and didn’t detract at all from the beautiful joy of the author’s words. Thank you for offering it for free. Well done

Sorry, an American accent doesn’t do it for me?

Amazing to get this audiobook for free, I highly recommend it to others. What a story - twists and turns, tension and excitement, Dickens at his masterful best. Great if you want a dramatisation of the French Revolution too.

Talk about turning a classic into a jumble of words. Listened to the first episode for 5-10 minutes and gave up. Breathe, for goodness sake draw a breath and slow down. Moderate, all the words don’t have to be spat out like a machine gun.
